Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Winter Woods
For my project I purchased an acrylic frame at my local dollar store. I cut the card front down to 3 1/4" x 5" and mounted it onto a 4" x 6" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. I added some snoflake sequins and slipped it inside the acrylic frame.
Next I used the birch trees (they are in the November kit). I added Snowflake Accent Puff Paint to the white space beneath the trees and heat embossed it. I added the red robins (also from the kit) with glue dots. I attached the entire piece to the outside of the acrylic frame with dimensionals.
Last, I used the Hand Letter Prose dies to cut the word PEACE form Real Red Glimmer Paper and glued it to the snow with Multipurpose glue! I also added a triple bow of Linen Thread and single Real Red Cotton Ribbon bow with glue dots! I LOVE IT and hope you do too!

Magnolia Lane
Hey there crafty friend! YAY!! It's Friday! Golly...it's been a busy couple of days! I'm hoping you all are safe from fires...have power and are able to enjoy your weekend! So far, we still have power with no signs of planned outages...but lots of folks close by are being turned off this evening and tomorrow evening. It's strange, but this might be a common event during extreme fire danger. I have friends at a retreat this weekend who have their headlamps ready and their battery operated lamps ready for their weekend. It's an all new way of planning!
Well, I have a lovely project to share with you today!
Today's card is inspired by a sketch and created with the Magnolia Lane Memories and More card pack and the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle. I also used Mossy Meadow cardstock and Petal Pink cardstock for the first layer of the card and the flower. The Mossy Meadow piece is embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.
Last I layered Burlap Ribbon and Magnolia Lane ribbon, tying it together with Linen Thread. I also added a Designer Element to the center of the flower which is layered with dimensionals.
Below is the sketch I used!
I love using sketches...they are definitely good inspiration, can bring you out of a creative funk and help you think out of the box! Do you have a FAVORITE sketch that you like to use?
Hey...thanks so much for stopping by today! I wanted to let you all know that I'm changing things up a bit! Instead of sharing something on my blog and to my Facebook page I'm going to be sharing different projects. I'm also going to have special things to share in my newsletter so be sure to follow me on Facebook and subscribe to my newsletter. You can to both on the left side of my blog. If you prefer Pinterest or Instagram...I have those too! You won't miss a thing!
Have a FANTASTIC weekend! Stay safe and have FUN!
