Flowers of Friendship Tutorial

Hello everyone!  I've had a busy and wonderful day today!  I had a class down the mountain in Redding and was able to have lunch with two dear friends afterward!  Yesterday I hung out with my daughter and binge watched Virgin River! School is going to be starting way to soon!

I'm home now and wanted to share a pretty tutorial with you!  I love the colors and the sweetness of it!  I hope you do too!

Flowers of Friendship

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets: Flowers of Friendship (155358)

·         Card Stock: Thick Basic White (159229); Bermuda Bay (131197), Shimmer White (101910)

·         Stamp Pads: Memento Tuxedo Black ink (132708)

·         Misc. Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers (154885); Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers (154878); Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475); Pattern Party 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (155426-hostess); Stitched Greenery die (155451); Stampin’ SEAL (152813); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (149653)

 

Measurements: 

·         Thick Basic White: 5 ½“ x 8 ½“ scored at 4 ¼“ and folded in half for card front

·         Bermuda Bay: 4 x 5 ¼“

·         Shimmer White: 4 x 2 ¾ “

·         Designer Series Paper: 3½” x 4 ½”

           

Instructions:

1.    Align the Bermuda Bay layer with the Stitched Greenery die and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.  Adhere to the card front. 

2.    Adhere the Pattern Party designer series paper to the front of card as shown.

3.    Stamp flower image several times across the Shimmer White piece with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Feel free to go off the edge and not stamp in a perfect line.   

4.    Add hints of colour with the Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

5.    Tie white twine around the bottom of the Shimmer White piece and adhere to the designer series paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

"Make-It Monday" Watercolor Shapes Tutorial

Hello there! How's your Monday going? Today, an amazing thing happened!  A local store's freezers went out this morning and they were going to have to throw a bunch of food out!  There was also a delivery truck there to restock!  A friend contacted my husband and several others and they gathered up the food and took it to our church parking lot to distribute it!  We filled our church freezer with pizza's for our youth group and burgers for our soup kitchen.  We called and texted those we knew who might need it and could also help get it to others in need.  It was amazing.  Within just a couple of hours two pickup loads of food was distributed. It was a wonderful thing to be a part of.  I know God's timing is always perfect and it showed today.  Everyone worked together and God gave us cooler weather so that we could get it all handed out before it thawed.  What a blessing!

Well...it's Monday and I have a FUN tutorial to share with you today!  I hope it INSPIRES you!!

Watercolor Shapes

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets – Watercolor Shapes (156968); Sweet Ice Cream (154456)

·         Card Stock –Thick Basic White (159229); Basic White (159276); Basic Black (121045)

·         Stamp Pads – Bermuda Bay (147096 ); Bumblebee (153116); Gorgeous Grape (147099); Magenta Madness (153117); Memento Black (132708)

·         Misc. – Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

 

Measurements: 

·         Thick Basic White:   4 1/4” x 11”               

·         Basic White:              3 1/8” x 4 3/8”            7/8” x 3 1/4”

·         Basic Black:              3 1/4” x 4 1/2”            1” x 3 1/4”

 

Instructions:

1.    Randomly stamp the following shapes in the following colors on the large white mat: Large Circle - Magenta Madness, Large Oval - Bermuda Bay, Small Oval – Bumblebee, Small Circle – Gorgeous Grape, adhere to the black mat, and use Dimensionals and center on the white base

2.    Using Memento Black ink stamp “Happy Birthday” on the white strip and adhere to the black strip and attach.

3.    Place a small Rhinestone on the “i” in Birthday and then randomly place the other 4 Rhinestones

Holiday Mini Catalog Paper Share and New Mini Holiday Catalog

Hello everyone!  

I hope you're enjoying your weekend and aren't to hot!  Be sure to drink lots of water!  My daughter was a bit dehydrated this morning after a run and felt horrible!  It was a bit scary for me as she was really sick and was having trouble seeing.  My husband had some electrolyte pills (he's a cyclist) so he gave her one and we had her sipping water and thankfully she was feeling better in a couple of hours and was able to go to church with us!

Color & Contour with Expressions In Ink Designer Paper

Hello everyone!  How are things in your neck of the woods?  Has it cooled down for those of you enduring a heat wave?  It's under 100 degrees here...YAY!!! It's also a bit smoky from the fires around us.  I'm not complaining though...there are no fires here and that is a blessing!  You all stay safe and HAPPY CREATING!

I was working in my shop today, creating a card for a tutorial group that I belong to and I'd like to share it with you now...it's simple yet oh so pretty!

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets – Color & Contour (154994) or bundle (158356)

·         Card Stock – Evening Evergreen (155574); Thick Basic White (159229)

·         Designer Series Paper – Expressions In Ink (155464)

·         Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708)

·         Misc. – Scalloped Contours Dies (15550) or bundle (158356); 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571); Linen Thread (104199); Pale Papaya & White ½” Woven Ribbon (155816); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive(152813)

           

Measurements: 

·         Thick Basic White Cardstock - 8 1/2” x 5 ½” and scrap to cut scalloped rectangle

·         Evening Evergreen             5 ½” x 4 ¼” to cut largest scalloped rectangle

·         DSP:  Expressions In Ink - 3 3/8” x 4 5/8”           

           

Instructions:

 

1.    Cut card base and score at 4 ¼”.

2.    Cut Evening Evergreen layer with the largest die from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

3.    Cut Thick Whisper White layer with the second to largest die from the same dies and stamp the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

4.     Adhere Expressions In Ink DSP to Evening Evergreen cardstock with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. Attach sentiment to DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5.    Tie a bow around above, bringing the Pale Papaya & White ½” Woven Ribbon through the holes in the scallops. Tie three strands of Linen Thread into a bow around the Pale Papaya Bow.

6.    Add the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to sentiment.
