HELLO....HELLO....HELLO!  I hope you are having a BEAUTIFUL day!  I just arrived home from a school field trip to the Joss House (a Chinese temple in our town) and want to share a card with you....SORRY I'm a bit late today!

This card was made by coloring in a piece of Back to Black designer paper which I then mounted on a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and then a piece of Basic Black cardstock.  The ribbon I used is 3/4" Chevron black.  The sentiment is from the Banner Banter stamp set and the butterfly is made with the Butterflies Thinlits.  I've wanted to do this for a while now...but with blendabilities...but because they have been discontinued I used my SU markers and a blender pen.

I also wanted to share this weeks deals...because I forgot on Tuesday!

Thanks so much for stopping by....AGAIN!!

Butterfly Basics

Good Morning!  The sun is shining...the sky is blue...it's a good day!  I'm hoping that all is well where you are this morning!

I've been busy in my workshop coming up with some new card ideas and other creations....exciting things are coming your way!  Today I want to share a card that I made with the Butterfly Basics stamp set....it's a new FAVORITE of mine!
The colors I chose are Pacific Point, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White and Hello Honey.  I also used a piece of designer paper from the Painted Blooms pack.  I stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point after I had stamped the background in Crumb Cake....both stamps are from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.  I punched the butterflies with the Bitty Butterfly Punch out of designer paper from the In Colors pack.  The ribbon is the 1/4" cotton ribbon and the new White Jute Ribbon in the Occasions Catalog!

The inside of the card is stamped with the same background stamp as the sentiment and the butterflies are stamped with the small butterfly stamp in the same Butterfly Basics stamp set!

Next time I think I will stamp the butterflies for the front and punch them out....YEP!  this stamp works with the Bitty Butterfly punch!

I have some exciting things coming your way so be sure to check in from time to time...HOPEFULLY DAILY!

HERE'S A TEASER!
Thank you so much for following my blog,

Painted Blossoms Designer Paper - DAY THREE

Hello to all of my fellow paper crafters!  We are getting some wonderfully welcome rain here in my little mountain town of Weaverville, California!  I am loving it!  I'm so sorry to post so late today...time just got away from me!

Today I have the last two cards (of six) that I made with one sheet of Painted Blossoms Designer Paper.

This card I made with the From the Garden stamp set and the Handpicked Framelits.  I made the flower pot using Crumb Cake cardstock, the Note Tag punch and the Word Window punch.

The below card was made using the Choose Happiness stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it with White embossing powder.

Simple and clean cards....but absolutely lovely!

Thanks for stopping by...
and ENJOY the rest of your day!

Painted Blossoms Designer Paper - DAY TWO

Well...Bob Seger was FANTASTIC!  We had a blast!  I'm on my way back home today!  As promised...I have a couple more cards that I made with that same piece of Painted Blossoms Designer Paper!  I hope you like them!

This is such a quick and easy way to make six great cards!  On these two cards I used the sentiments from the Bloom With Hope and the Sassy Salutations stamp sets.  I also punched a butterfly with the Elegant Butterfly punch and cut another using the Butterflies Thinlit Die.  SIMPLY GORGEOUS!

Thanks bunches for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS day...and find time to create!

Painted Blossoms Designer Paper

GOOD MORNING!  Well...I feel like it's deja vu....but I'm headed down the mountain today to go see Bob Seger!  YEP...last week he postponed until this week.  I wasn't all the way to Sacramento yet, but I was in Redding....my husband had taken a couple of days off and we went shopping both days for our kitchen remodel!  I love it when he is home...and we REALLY needed to get things picked out...BUT I got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING accomplished in my workshop!  NEEDLESS to say...I was MIA for most of last week!

I do have a couple of cards to share with you today!  I'm sure many of you have seen many blogs where the demonstrator made six cards with one sheet of the Painted Blossoms Designer Paper in the Occasions Catalog.  I wanted to give it a try...so today I'm sharing a couple of the cards that I made.
This paper really does make BEAUTIFUL cards.  I used the Kind & Cozy and Lovely Amazing You stamp sets on the first card and the A Round Array stamp set on the second card.  SIMPLICITY at it's best!  I'll share the rest on Tuesday and Wednesday, so be sure to come back!

HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!

Snuggles and Smooches....not just for Valentine's Day!

Good Morning!  Here comes another week!  Let's make it a GREAT one!
This morning I wanted to share with you a card that I made with the Snuggles and Smooches stamp set!  This idea came to me during a sleepless night...so I just had to get up and CREATE!

I love it when you can use a stamps set for more than it's OBVIOUS USES!  I stamped the swirly circles in Memento Black ink and then sponged them in with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie.  I matted it on Daffodil Delight cardstock and then on a piece of Melon Mambo designer paper.  I used the stem from the Lotus Blossom stamp set that is FREE during Sale-a-bration! I stamped Happy Birthday with the Sassy Salutations stamp set and added a few more flowers to the inside!  It's a quick and easy card...but so DELIGHTFUL!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I LOVE that you take the time to follow me!
