April Challenge - Day 30.....LAST DAY

WOW!!!  It's Wednesday AND it's the last day of the April Challenge I am participating in!  I have had a blast...and it has REALLY inspired me to CREATE!!!  Here is the card I have for you today!

This card was really fun to make.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set to stamp flowers in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie.  I then punched the flowers out and also punched flowers of corresponding cardstock.  I added centers of Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Rhinestones and Pearls.  I really LOVE this fold...and ideas are SWIRLING around in my head!!!  I must start a notebook!

Here is a view of the card from the side...it it a rally FUN FOLD!  To create this fold you simply cut a 10 1/2" by 5" piece of cardstock (you choose the color...mine is Certainly Celery).  Then you score it at 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 4 1/4, 6 and 8 1/4 with the long edge horizontal when you score.  Fold accordion style beginning with a mountain fold!

Thank you for following along on this challenge!  I hope you found many ideas that you will be able to use on future projects!  Have a WONDERFUL day!   Drop in again tomorrow to see what May brings!!!!

April Challenge - Day 29

So glad it's TUESDAY!!!!  We have a little league ball game tonight.  My husband coaches my son, Adam's team...they are the White Sox....and they are UNDEFEATED!  Baseball is in our blood...we love it!  In fact, we have already gotten tickets to go see the San Francisco Giants next month....and we are we are planning to go see Cal Berkeley's team play the day before!  I LOVE IT....but I must admit....I am always glad when the season if over and life is a little busy!  I have another card for you today showing a cute way to say HI!!! HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!
I made this card using the Retro Fresh designer paper in the Occasions catalog.  I also used Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso cardstock.  I stamped the HI with the Notable Alphabet stamp set...which I am so bummed is retiring.  I'm not getting rid of if though...as it will be a great set to have available at my scrapbooking retreats for the ladies to use!  I made the cogs with the Starburst framelits and the Circle framelit...by putting a smaller circle inside of the larger starburst and running it through my bigshot together.  SUPER EASY...and SUPER CUTE!  I added a button and some ribbon for a little dimension!  I LOVE THIS LOOK.  I inked it...not sure about that...I'm gonna try it later today without inking so that I can see which I like best!

Here are this weeks WEEKLY DEAL!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!  I hope to see you back here tomorrow!

April Challenge - Day 27

Good morning and I hope you are all having a beautiful Sunday!  It is beautiful here in Trinity County....blue skies...crisp and clean after a nice rain last night...but not until we finished our baseball game!

Today I deviated from making cards and make these adorable teacups to take to the mothers attending our Girl Scout mother-daughter tea today!  I LOVE them....they are so cute!  I hope the moms like them...AND YOU TOO!!  I can't find the where I found the directions...but I will find them and post the site sometime this week!  SORRY...a little disorganized!!! They are probably under piles of paper scraps and piles of retiring product that I am sorting!

These were all made with the Gingham Garden designer paper which is being retired and is only available while supplies last.  I'm sad to see this paper go, but EXCITED to see what is coming!!!

April Challenge - Day 24

I created today's card using another personalized stamp.  I LOVE them because you can say whatever you want....but you do have to plan, because you have to order them ahead of time.
The designer paper is from the Retro Fresh collection in the Occasions Catalog.  I also used the Daffodil Delight designer paper from the Paper Stacks collection.  The flowers are from the Blossom Party Originals die.  I cut two of each of the two flowers for dimension...I was going for the "DAISY EFFECT"....I am thrilled with how they turned out.

Thank you bunches for stopping in to see my creations!  Be sure to share my blog with all of you friends and fellow paper crafters!  Have a TERRIFIC THURSDAY and come back tomorrow!!!

April Challenge - Day 23

Today's challenge card is created with a personalized stamps that I ordered with one of my favorite quotes on it!  I LOVE THIS CARD and hope you do to!!!  I would love to hear your comments...so please share!

I used designer paper from the Paper stacks series (Daffodil Delight) as well as from Epic Day This & That.  The flowers were stamped with the Flower Shop stamp set and then punched out with the Pansy Punch.  The small flower is punched with the Boho Blossoms punch.  I added black candy dots to the centers of two of the flowers as well as a 1/2" circle and a white candy dot.  The ribbons is 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  The cardstock that I used is Whisper White, Basic Black and Pool Party for the quote.

Here is a close up of the quote....

Don't you LOVE it!!??? The quote is on the Graphic Border stamp (page 135 of the main catalog).  I stamped the wording in Early Espresso on the Pool Party cardstock and then used the Hardwood stamp to stamp in Versamark to make it look a little bit aged....I REALLY LOVE how it turned out!!!

Add your favorite quote to a personalized stamp...FUN, FUN, FUN!

I hope you find time to play today!  I am having so much FUN with this challenge!  Thank you for following along!
