Free as a Bird Friendship Card

Hello Everyone and HAPPY FRIDAY!  I hope you have a fantastic day and a wonderful weekend!  I had a small class this week and it was so nice to see those that could make it.  Here's one of the cards that we made!  ENJOY and BE INSPIRED!!

This cute card is made with the Bird Ballad designer paper and the Free as a Bird stamp set.  The flowers were punched with the Small Bloom punch that is from Sale-A-Bration but is also in the NEW 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  The centers of the flowers are Designer Elements that are on SALE right now...item #149586 for $4.90.  You get total 36 of them in 3 different colors...they are one of my favorites  

I used the end of the designer paper that was cut off to decorate the corner of the inside of the card, but can't find my photo.  It's really cute and one of my ladies suggested it would make a cute gift card holder.  I LOVE that idea!

Salted Background Cards

Hello Everyone!  I do hope you are all well!  I’m heading down the mountain this morning to teach my first class in two months!  Oh how I have missed these get together!  I can’t wait to see my ladies...we’ll some of them,  I can only have 10 at a time.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - A Kit In Color

Hello everyone and WELCOME to our PPP Blog Hop!  

Thanks for joining us and have FUN hopping along with us tonight!

This months Paper Pumpkin was super fun and bright!  

When I first looked at the stamps that came with it, I INSTANTLY thought McDonald's...and SMILES!

I decided to use it for BOTH!

First, I decided to create a card with a gift card holder on the inside!  

McDonald's is a BIG treat in our town because we have to drive about an hour to get to one...so it's DEFINITELY a big  treat!

 

I embossed the front only of my Real Red card base with the Subtle embossing folder.  Next I cut a scalloped rectangle with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment on the bottom.  The Real Red and Whisper White circles are cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the golden arches with Daffodil Delight ink.  The gingham 1" x 3 3/4" strip is from the Brights 6" x 6" designer paper packs.  I think the kiddo I give it too with LOVE it!

I LOVE emoji's and this one is super FUN!  I cut a Mini Curvy Keepsake Box from Daffodil Delight cardstock and stamped the SMILE with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  The large eye is punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch (sadly it's retiring).  The small eye is punched with the Tag Topper Punch (you just need a small strip of Whisper White cardstock for this).  Last, the pupils are cut with the stones from the Dino Dies with Basic Black cardstock.  The pupils are glued to the eyes with Multipurpose Glue, then the eyes are glued to the box with the same glue!  Isn't it CUTE?!!?

This was a really fun Paper Pumpkin to think out of the box with and tonight you're gonna have LOTS of GREAT INSPIRATION!!!

Dandelion Wishes with Pigment Sprinkles

Hello everyone! I can't believe it's already Thursday! The days seem to blend into each other! I had a wonderful day visiting with friends who came for a visit!  I'm blessed to have a big room but we didn't get much crafting done!  We did do a lot of laughing though!

I have a BEAUTIFUL card to share with you today!  It's made with one of my FAVORITE stamp set (happily it isn't retiring)!  It's also made with Pigment Inks (which sadly are retiring).  Now's a GREAT time to get them as they are on sale! ·         Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (140272), Bermuda Bay (131197), Blackberry Bliss (133675), Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)

·         Ink: Blackberry Bliss (147092), Versamark (102283)

·         Tools & Accessories: Pigment Sprinkles (149663), Stampin’ Spritzers (126185), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690), Heat Tool (129053), White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (149511), Embossing Buddy (103083), Dimensionals, Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (151775)

           

Measurements: 

·         Thick Whisper White Card Base: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

·         Bermuda Bay:  5 3/8” x 4 1/8”

·         Blackberry Bliss: 5 3/8” x 2”

·         Watercolor Paper:    4 ¾” x 3”        

           

Instructions:

·         Emboss dandelion image onto Watercolor Paper with White Embossing Powder

·         Sprinkle very small amount Pigment Sprinkles onto Watercolor Paper (I used Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green & Gorgeous Grape)

·         Spritz with water until you have the desired effect- then let it dry

·         Emboss Bermuda Bay using Subtle 3D then glue it onto Whisper White card base

·         Glue Blackberry Bliss paper onto Bermuda Bay, then glue the decorated Watercolor Paper on top’

·         Stamp sentiment using Blackberry Bliss on to Whisper White scratch paper then cut it out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies

·         Pop it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals

●     Stamp Set: Birthday Jubilee (151576)

●     Card stock: Pool Party (122924), Thick Whisper White (140272)

●     Ink: Calypso Coral (147101), Memento (132708)

●     Tools & Accessories: Jubilee Beauty Dies (151576), Wink of Stella (141897), Well Written (151816), Stampin’ Blend Sets: Old Olive (144597), Calypso Coral (144045), So Saffron (149557), Pool Party (144595), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108), Take Your Pick Tool Brush Tip (149655)

Measurements:

●     Base: Thick Whisper White, 8½x5½, folded in half

●     Card stock No. 1: Pool Party

Instructions:

●     Die cut 2 of the intricate background from Jubilee Beauty dies and then Pool Party Paper. Then use the die brush tip on the Take Your Pick Too to remove insides.

●     Stamp the garland from the Birthday Jubilee set in Memento ink and die cut.

●     Adhere the two Jubilee Beauty die cuts facing each other to the Thick Whisper White base with mini glue dots, careful to avoid the holes so the dots do not show through.

●     Stamp the “Celebrating YOU is the best” phrase in Calypso Coral, stamped off, in the center of the card.

●     Color the garland with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the top of the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

●     Highlight with Wink of Stella. Enjoy!
