"Make-It Monday" Snow Front

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a TERRIFIC weekend!  Did you get any snow, stormy weather?  Are you ready for winter because I think it's here...or just around the corner!!!  I enjoyed my daughter's volleyball game in Alturas, California on Saturday.  It's close to a four hour drive from our home but it is a GORGEOUS drive!  I also enjoyed spending time with two of my adult sons!  I LOVE that my kids LOVE to come home!  I'll be seeing them (BRIEFLY) this Friday, as my three oldest sons and my husband are going hunting...to a place called Adam's lake, in our Trinity Alps.  It's a beautiful lake and will make a wonderful base camp.  I'm sure there will be some tears shed over our youngest son and their brother, Adam while they are there, but I'm praying it will be healing too!

Welcome to this weeks "Make-It Monday"! As you know from Friday's post...this is my FAVORITE stamp set in the Holiday Catalog!  I hope you are inspired by this simple and pretty card!

Snow Front...my FAVORITE Holiday Catalog Stamp Set

Hello everyone!  HAPPY FRIDAY!!! What are your plans for the weekend?  Are you expecting stormy weather?  Will you have any time to CREATE?  At any rate, I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend.  I'm heading to Modoc, which is almost four hours away for Kate's volleyball game tomorrow!  Thankfully it isn't until noon so we don't have to leave super early!  She's also riding her horse at the JV and Varsity football games tonight.  A group of girls are carrying the flags during the Star Spangled Banner!  I'm SUPER EXCITED for her!

Today I want to share my FAVORITE stamp set in the Holiday Catalog with you!  I just LOVE it!  It's called Snow Front and it partners great with the Waterfront stamp set.  For this card, I only used the Snow Front set though!  I hope you love it like I do!

The card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the first Whisper White layer measuring 4 1/8" X 5 3/8".  The Pretty Peacock layer is 4" X 5 1/4" and is embossed with the Hammered Metal embossing folder.  The image is stamped onto a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits.  I rolled the sky with the Sponge Brayers using Coastal Cabana ink with a bit of Wink of Stella to make it glisten!  The dirt is brayed also, with Crumb Cake in then I used the stamp set for the details also with Crumb Cake ink.  The trees are stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.  Below the trees is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink!  Before attaching the stamped image with dimensionals, I added some Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon.  I LOVE this card!

Hey...that's it for today!  Have a FANTASTIC weekend!  I hope you get to do something FUN!!

THANKS BUNCHES FOR STOPPING BY!!

Perfectly Plaid Christmas

Hello there crafty friends!  I hope you've had a WONDERFUL day!  I spent the morning with dear friends this morning!  I am so very blessed!  I really need to take the time to do that more often...relationships are so very important!

Hey...I have a pretty Christmas card to share with you today!  Do you know that it's only three months away?!?!?

This card has a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Night of Navy base.  The first layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  Next is a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper.  It is GORGEOUS paper!

I used the Perfectly Plaid stamp set to stamp the sentiment onto a Stitched Shape Oval with Night of Navy ink.  I also used it to heat emboss the tree with VersaMark and Copper Embossing Powder.  The tree is cut out with the Pine Tree punch.  Both the sentiment and the tree are attached with dimensionals, but before adding them to the card I added some 3/8" Denim Ribbon!  Isn't it a great card? It's SIMPLE too!

Well...that's it for today!  I hope you find time to spend with a friend soon!  It's IMPORTANT and such a blessing!  If your want to recreate this card you can get the necessary supplies at my store by clicking on SHOP NOW!

Jack-O-Lantern Mini Curvy Keepsake Box

Hello everyone!  Here it is...Wednesday already!  I'm excited because I only have one thing to do today so I'll have lots of creating time...YAY!  I hope you're having a wonderful day!

I have a project from my September classes to share with you today and it's a PERFECT little Halloween treat for your children, their classrooms, neighbors, party favors...alright, you get the idea!  They're PERFECT...and simple too!

This super cute jack-o-lantern is made with the new Mini Curvy Keepsake Box die.  I used the Harvest Hellos stamp set to stamp his face in Memento Black ink!  I used the Boo to You stamp set for the sentiment, stamping it in Memento Black in and punching it out with the 1" circle punch.  The leaf is cut and embossed with the Gathered Leaves dies. I used Call Me Clover Grosgrain Ribbon and Linen Thread to finish it of!  Isn't he ADORABLE!

SO SIMPLE...but oh so CUTE!!

Well...I'm off to do the one thing I have to do today, a meeting for our ladies group at church.  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by today!!! I hope you find time to create today and if you need any of these supplies click on SHOP NOW at the top right of this blog!  Have a FANTASTIC day!

Pigment Sprinkles & Gathered Together

Hello there!  Happy Tuesday NIGHT!  I'm finally getting my Tuesday's Tip video published...between hair appointments, classes and volleyball games I'm LATE!!

But...it's BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!  ENJOY!

Here are the three leaves! The top one had TOO MANY Pigment Sprinkles!

The bottom two are on Watercolor paper and Whisper White cardstock!

These Pigment Sprinkles are super fun...I hope you'll give them a try!

To create the card I used a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Merry Merlot cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".  My top layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock that I stamped and cut the leaf out of!  I attached a 3" X 3" piece of Come Together designer paper to the cardbase so it will show through the leaf cutout, with snail adhesive.  Next, I stamped the flecks in Mango Melody, Merry Merlot and Pumpkin Pie ink onto the Whisper White layer as well as the Gather Together sentiment...both are from the Gather Together stamp set.  Before attaching it to the card base I added some Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding to the same layer.  It is attached with dimensional.  Last, I attached the leaf I created with Pigment Sprinkles with dimensional and then leaves cut using the Gathered Leaves dies and Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry cardstock!  Don't you just LOVE fall and all the colors that start erupting from the trees and shrubs!  This card totally has that feel!

If you want to recreate this card and need supplies, go to my store by clicking on SHOP NOW at the top right of this blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by tonight!  Sleep well and have a GREAT day tomorrow!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Bone Appetit

Hello everyone and WELCOME to tonight's Paper Pumpkins Possibilities Blog Hop!  I hope you'll follow along and be inspired by all the ideas that will be shared this evening!  This months kit is called Bone Appetit...and it's Halloween themed.

The kit has all that you need to make these ADORABLE boxes...ten of each!

I really LOVE the boxes and I wanted to use them as boxes so I decided to create a CUTE carrier that holds two boxes!  I LOVE how it turned out!  To create the box take a 5" X 7 1/2" piece of Basic Black cardstock and score it at  1 1/2" on all four sides.  on the two short sides cut on the score lines up to the score line to make your box.  Next take a cut a 1" X 12" piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the band.  You'll soon discover that it doesn't make it all the way around the box, but that's okay because the empty space is hidden by the ADORABLE tag you'll be creating with the Paper Pumpkin supplies.

You can see in the photo that I also used Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon around the band and I tied and frayed a piece of Whisper White Flax Ribbon for the tag.

Here's a side view of the box!
Here's a close up of that ADORABLE tag!  The tag, the cobweb, the skeleton and the sentiment all come with the kit!  Isn't it CUTE!!

Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by this evening!
