12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas - So Many Stars

Good Morning Everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  GOLLY...I've been gone for a bit!  I had a lovely time with my three girls...at football games, church bazaar's, Yosemite for the day, visiting our old church, dinner and coffee with old friends...it was wonderful!  Then...to top it off, my husband came home from Montana a few days early and has been off so I've been hanging out with him!

It's week SEVEN of 12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas this week and I have a GREAT card to share with you!  It's wonderful for Christmas...but also for birthdays, graduations, congrats and more!  I hope you'll give it a try!

So Many Stars

This project has been designed for ease of making many quickly and with the flexibility to use a variety of patterns of Designer Series Paper. This design may also be used for other occasions simply by selecting alternative papers as well as choosing Very Vanilla as your card base. Feel free to add embellishments such as sequins or rhinestones or leave them as they are – simple, nowadays, is a really hot style. Just have fun using your paper!

Supplies:
·         Stamp set: So Many Stars (150496) or discounted in the stamp set/dies bundle (153016)
·         Cardstock & paper: Whisper White (100730), Let It Snow Designer Series Paper [DSP] (150393)
·         Ink: Real Red (147084)
·         Miscellaneous: Stitched Stars Dies (150653) or discounted in the stamp set/dies bundle (153016), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Bone Folder (102300), die-cutting machine

Measurements:
·         Whisper White card base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” then folded on the crease with the Bone         Folder and a piece 3-3/4” x 5”
·         Designer Series Paper: 4” x 4-1/4”

Instructions:
.    Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the DSP about ½” from the top of the card front’s fold.
.    Using Real Red ink stamp the sentiment towards the bottom center of the Whisper White piece.
.   Align a large star die either angled or straight over the Whisper White piece and die cut it out.
.   With Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere Whisper White piece over front of card so it has even           borders    on all sides as compared to the edges of the card front.

Here are a few FUN alternative options!

ICS Blog Hop - Monochromatic

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop! I'm glad you stopped by! Our theme this month is Monochromatic and I had a lot of FUN with it!

I used the So Many Stars Bundle which includes the So Many Stars stamp set and the Stitched Stars Dies for my card. Gray Granite is one of my FAVORITE colors so I used it along with Whisper White.  I add a few Frosted Epoxy Droplets to bling it up a bit.  Looking at it now I think a bit of Wink of Stella would look great on there as well!  What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by this evening!  I hope you'll hop along with us tonight!

12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas - Snowman Season...Week Six

Good Morning everyone!  Hope  you are all well!  I was a bit off my game yesterday...going a million directions!  Things have calmed down today...thankfully and I'm here to share this weeks 12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas project with you!  ENJOY!

Snowman Season
All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!®

Supplies:
·         Stamp Set – Snowman Season (150458); Bundle with Snowman Punch (152337)
·         Card Stock – Thick Whisper White (140272); Whisper White (100730); Cherry Cobbler (119685)
·         Stamp Pads – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)
·         Misc. – Stampin’ Blends Pool Party Combo (144605); Stampin’ Blends Light Smoky Slate (145054); Stampin’ Blends Light Pumpkin Pie (144578); Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper (150393); Diagonal Stripe Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler (150439); Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder (150645); Starburst Punch (143717); 2” Circle Punch (133782); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Snail Adhesive (104332); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Paper Snips (103579); Embossing/Die Cutting Machine
Measurements:
·         Thick Whisper White Cardstock: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
·         Whisper White Cardstock: 4” x 2 ½” for sentiment and 2” circle punch
·         Cherry Cobbler Cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”
·         Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper: 2” x 4” for banner and a scrap piece approx. 2 ½” for starburst punch

Instructions:
1.    Emboss the Cherry Cobbler layer with the Winter Knit embossing folder and add it to the front of the thick Whisper White Card with snail adhesive.
2.    Cut a flag banner at the bottom of the 2” x 4” piece of Designer Paper with your paper snips and add it to the front of your card with snail adhesive.
3.    Stamp the sentiment and snowman image on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Punch the snowman out with the 2” circle punch and cut the sentiment out with your paper snips. Color the snowman with Stampin’ Blends. I used the light Pumpkin Pie for his nose, light Pool Party for the snowman, and Smoky Slate for the snow and outline of the snowman. Then I used the light Pool Party to make dots of snow on the sentiment.
4.    Punch some Designer Paper using the Starburst Punch. The print I used is the backside of the snowman one shown on the banner.
5.    Make a faux bow with the Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and tack it down on the card front with Mini Glue Dots. (I don’t really tie a bow so that it’s not bulky) Attach the snowman image to your Starburst Punched shape with snail and pop it up over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.    Add the cut sentiment pieces with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you have a WONDERFUL day and life goes smoothly!  Come back this evening at 6:00pm (PST) for the Inspire, Create, Share blog hop!  It will be lots of FUN!

"Make-It Monday" Christmas Gleaming Gift Card Holder

Good Morning everyone!  Happy Monday!  Are you ready for your week?  I'm ready...or at least I keep telling myself I am!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

It was just Kate and me...she had lots of cupcakes to bake...11 DOZEN and 4 DOZEN frosted sugar cookies!  She absolutely amazes me!  She made Red Velvet, Pina Colada, Chocolate, Vanilla & Lemon...the house smelled wonderful!

Golly...she's a talented baker!  She made homemade churros for her Spanish class on Friday!  She's not afraid of trying new things and she works so hard!

Well...enough PROUD MAMA moments!  It's time for this weeks "Make-It Monday" tutorial!

"Make-It Monday": CHRISTMAS GLEAMING gift card holder card created using Stampin' Up! products
All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!®

Supplies:
  • Stamp Set – Christmas Gleaming Bundle (153006)
  • Card Stock – Thick Very Vanilla (144237); Pretty Peacock (150880); Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper (150429); Copper Foil Sheets (142020)
  • Stamp Pads – Pretty Peacock (150083); Night of Navy (147110); Versamark Pad (102283)
  • Miscellaneous – 1” Circle Punch (119868); 2 ¼” Circle Punch (143720); Layering Circles Dies (141705); Tufted 3D Embossing Folder (146335); Aqua Painters (103954); Embossing Buddy (103083); Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (141636); Heat Tool (129053); Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995); Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (144108); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Die Cutting & Embossing Machine

Measurements:

  • Thick Very Vanilla (base): 4 ¼” x 11”, score at 5 ½”
  • Thick Very Vanilla – scrap
  • Pretty Peacock – 3 ½” x 3 ½”
  • Copper Foil – 4” x 4”
  • Designer Paper – 3” x 12”, score at 5 ½” & 9 ½”

Instructions:

  1. Emboss the card base using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder.
  2. Fold up the lower half of the designer paper so the opposite pattern is showing to create a pocket. Use the 1” Circle Punch to make a notch in the center of the designer paper. Adhere the pocket closed using Tear & Tape.
  3. Adhere the designer paper to the front and inside base of the cardstock as shown.
  4. Punch a 2 ¼” circle using Pretty Peacock cardstock. Emboss using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder.
  5. Die cut a slightly larger circle than the Pretty Peacock cardstock using the Copper Foil Sheet and the Layering Circles Dies. Adhere it to the Pretty Peacock cardstock. Adhere these layers to the left side of the designer paper using Dimensionals.
  6. Lightly rub the Very Vanilla scrap cardstock with the Embossing Buddy. Stamp the ornament image using Versamark in on Thick Very Vanilla scrap cardstock. Immediately cover with copper embossing powder and heat set. Punch the ornament out using the coordinating punch.
  7. Using the Aqua Painter and Pretty Peacock ink, color in the ornament. Color in the topper of the ornament using Night of Navy ink. Ink will resist where there is heat embossing so after the cardstock has dried, blog the image using a clean, dry cloth to remove the water/ink from the copper embossed lines. Adhere the ornament to the center of the circle layers using a combination of Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.
  8. Stamp the greeting using Night of Navy ink on Thick Very Vanilla scrap cardstock. Cut around the perimeter of the greeting using your scissors. Adhere the greeting, overlapping the ornament as shown, using Mini Dimensionals.
  9. Insert the gift card inside the pocket on the inside of the card.
Isn't that pretty and festive!! SUPER FUN!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you've had your coffee and are off and going! Stay SAFE and have a FANTASTIC day!
