Layering Alphabet Anniversary Card!

Good Morning everyone!  Hope you are all well!  Sunday was my 29th wedding anniversary...and I forgot!  My mind was elsewhere with the fire and power outages! My husband had to go to work early because of a power outage due to the fire and I got up with him but I NEVER thought to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
A couple hours later I realized what had happened so I texted him...he immediately texted me back and said..."Go look by the popcorn machine, I have something for you but forgot to put it out".  I went downstairs to find some beautiful wildflowers he had gotten for me!  So I promptly went outside to make an anniversary card!

I've really been wanting to use the Layering Alphabet Framelits and here is what I created!  I used Sparkle Glimmer Paper along with Basic Gray and Smoky Slate cardstock. I also used Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon...because of the x's...XOXO!!!  The heart is from the Corrugated Elements embellishments.  I also used Linen Thread, Pearl Basic Jewels and Iridescent Sequins to finish it off!  The safety pin is from Kohl's Department Store!  I save them!!

"Make-It Monday" Sunny Days

Hello everyone!  Many of you know that we are dealing with an horrific fire here in Northern California!  It's called the Carr Fire and has devastated Redding, damaged French Gulch and has now come over the mountain in my direction.  It started last Monday, July 23rd and has spread rapidly to over 100,000 acres...more than doubling in size a few nights! Many of my customers, who I consider dear friends are currently displaced...some not knowing if their homes are still there.  Six lives have been lost, over 1000 structures have been lost and over 4,000 are threatened! 

I tell you this to request your prayers and to let you know my blogging may be sporadic!  I am safe, but my town is on an advisory evacuation...we are packed and ready to leave when necessary.  Thank you for praying and for understanding!

I stamped it in the middle and a little to the left. Then, stamp the sun in Memento Black Ink as well. Color your images with the Stampin’ Blends. Adhere your piece of Designer Series Paper to the bottom with snail adhesive. Then, attach that finished Whisper White piece to the Flirty Flamingo card front. Punch a Starburst circle from the Pineapple Punch cardstock. Stamp your sentiment on the scrap Whisper White cardstock in Mango Melody ink then punch out with the 2” circle punch. Attach the white circle to the starburst circle using Snail adhesive. Take 12” of the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and loop it where the circle is going to go making sure you don’t go over the card edge. Lift up on the bundled ribbon to add a little bit of snail adhesive to keep it in place. Add a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment circle and place on top of the ribbon. Lovely As A Tree

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are well and that my friends in Old Shasta and Redding areas are safely evacuated because of the fire!  I'm praying, and hope that you will pray also, that no lives are lost and homes can be saved...it's a terrible fire!!

I have a beautiful card to share with you today!  It was inspired by a post on a friends Facebook page. Thank you Linda for sharing this!

I LOVE the words in this as well as the colors!  It's a beautiful quote and the colors are STUNNING!  It truly inspired me to create!  I hope it will inspire you too!

I also was challenged to create a card using the Lovely As A Tree stamp set....below is my card.

My card base is Blueberry Blush with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I also cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock and used my sponge brayers to create the background.  I used blueberry Blush, Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay for the top then Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry for the bottom.  The trees are stamped with Memento Black ink using the Lovely As A Tree stamp set.  Before attaching the two layers to the card base I tied a bow with a piece of White Baker's Twine around the top of the image. The sentiment is from the Hand Delivered stamp set.  Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?!

Varied Vases Bundle

Hello Everyone!  GOLLY...it's late!  I still have company...I've had four extra teenagers today...friends stopping by...the roofer was here...my son came home for the day!  WHAT A FUN DAY!  I love all the activity...but I'm really late blogging!  I haven't watered my flowers yet either!  I had to cancel my class down the mountain today because the road is still closed due the fire...I'm so sad to miss it and my ladies!  I so enjoy getting together with them each month!

Today's card is another July class card!

The card base is Whisper White with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Basic Gray cardstock that is embossed with the Tufted Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.  I LOVE this embossing folder! I used the Varied Vases Bundle to stamp the vase and cut it out with the Vase Builder punch.  I stamped the leaf and stem in Lemon Lime Twist then attached the vase above it with a dimensional!  The CUTE flower is from the 2017-2019 In-Color Flower Buttons and is attached with Multipurpose Glue and has some Bakers Twine tied through it.  Next I attached the Stitched Oval (with the vase on it) with dimensionals to the embossed Basic Gray layer.  I tied a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle into a bow, slipping it under the Stitched Oval!  I also added a few pearls to finish it off!

Tuesday’s Tip - Stampin’ Up! Subtle DynamicTextured Embossing Folder

Hello Everyone!  I hope your day is going wonderfully!  I have a house guest!  One of my SU ladies and friend stayed with me last night because of a fire.  Her entire town was evacuated and she came to the elementary school in my town!  Of course I said come stay with me!!! I have an extra bedroom and that's much better than a cot!  She's out in my workshop now having lots of fun and I'm going to join her but first I wanted to share this weeks Tuesday's Tip video!

Hold that piece down onto the larger Whisper White piece and mark it so you know how to trim the other end. Trim it. Holding that piece back down on the Whisper White align where you want the sentiment to go, ink with Blueberry Bushel and stamp. If you don’t adhere it first, you can always redo if your stamping goes awry. Once it looks right, adhere strip piece to Whisper White with SNAIL. Using Gray Granite stamp road map image onto Gray Granite cardstock and punch out with 1-3/4” Circle Punch. Using 2” Circle, punch Mango Melody. Using 2-3/8” circle die, cut out a circle from the Blueberry Bushel Memories & More card (it is the one with a white circle in the center). Adhere Gray Granite to Mango Melody with SNAIL. Adhere a strip of Blueberry Bushel Washi Tape across top of Gray Granite making sure to wrap it around back. Using SNAIL adhere that piece to the larger Blueberry Bushel circle. Stamp bicycles in Blueberry Bushel along bottom of the 4” Whisper White scrap. Trim so that it’s about ½” wide. Using Paper Snips trim to create an arrow. Using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere to top of circle piece. Adhere Whisper White larger piece to Blueberry Bushel base with SNAIL. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere circle to front of card so it is over the three diagonal strips. Also with Dimensionals, add Blueberry Bushel to card base. Headed HOME!

Masculine Dandelion Wishes and Bokeh Dots!

Good Morning and HAPPY Friday!  I can't believe that this road trip with my girls is almost over!  Time goes by TOO FAST!

I have a really great card to share with you today!  It is also one of the cards we are making in my July classes!

You know that I LOVE the Dandelion Wishes stamp set as well as the Bokeh Dots stamp set and I used both of them here!  I used Blueberry Blush to stamp the Bokeh Dots then heat embossed the dandelion with white embossing powder!  I LOVE dandelions and I ALWAYS use WISH or MAKE A WISH when I create with them.  This sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set!  My card base is Whisper White with 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White that has been embossed with the Maps Etc. embossing folder! I LOVE how it all came together!  I did it ALL with my STAMPARATUS!! I didn't add any bling because I wanted it to be a MASCULINE card...I'm trying to include one in every class!
