"Make-It Monday" - Wishes & Wonder

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and long weekend!  I have a friend who, on the day after Thanksgiving, always goes and cuts down her Christmas tree.  Her adult children and grandchildren continue to come up to our little mountain and keep this tradition going.  I love traditions and I especially love this one! Dan, Kate and I went on Sunday to cut ours down and this week will begin the decorating!

Measurements: 

●       Whisper White Thick:          5-1/2” x 8-1/2”

●       Silver Foil:                             4-1/4” x 5-1/2”; 2” x 4”

●       Misty Moonlight:                   4” x 5-1/4”

●       Whisper White:                     3” x 3”; 7/8” x 3-1/4”

●       DSP:                                       3-3/4”  x 5”

●       Vellum:                                  (scraps for leaves and sprig)         

           

Instructions:

1. Score Whisper White Thick cardstock at 4-1/4”; fold to create card base.
2. Adhere Silver Foil to card base with Stampin’ Seal +.
3. Emboss DSP with Winter Snow Embossing Folder; adhere to Misty Moonlight with Stampin’ Seal +.  Tie twine into a bow around layered panel; adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
4. Use sponge daubers to apply Gray Granite and Misty Moonlight ink to sentiment stamp.  Stamp onto strip of Whisper White.
5. Stamp reindeer with Memento ink on 3” square of Whisper White.  Color with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Use Paper Snips to trim around the points of the left antler.  Carefully insert the cardstock into the 2-1/4” Circle Punch and use the Take Your Pick tool to gently “pull” the antler up through the center of the punch.  Punch circle.  Use Paper Snips to trim around the hooves, then tuck the sentiment strip under the hooves.  Adhere strip to punched circle.
6. Die cut two boughs and punch one sprig from scraps of vellum.  Adhere to back of sentiment/circle.
7. Cut two 2” pieces of Metallic Mesh; fray one end of each piece and adhere behind vellum pieces.  Set aside.
8. Die cut tree from Silver Foil; adhere to card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
9. Adhere sentiment/circle cluster to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Add gems with Take Your Pick tool.

PPP Blog Hop -Jolly Gingerbread

Hello Everyone and welcome to tonight's Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  I hope you'll join the fun and hop along with us!  There's lots of INSPIRATION ahead!

I decided to create a cute little treat box using two of the cards in the kit!  I love how it turned out and I hope you do too!  Below is my Tuesday's Tip video showing how I used the Jolly Gingerbread Paper Pumpkin kit to create a fun and festive treat box!  

I used a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" scored at 1" on all four sides, piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock to make the bottom of the box.

The handle is a 1" x 6 3/4" strip of Cinnamon Cider cardstock.

Here's the finished creation!  I filled my with Hershey's Kisses because that's what I had!  What do you think about filling it with ginger snaps, or gingerbread men...or even little dog treats!

Curvy Christmas Tutorial

Hello everyone!  Happy Friday!  I can't believe it's the weekend already and Thanksgiving is almost here!  It's also my husbands birthday on Sunday!  I shopped on Wednesday for his birthday and Thanksgiving and I got a FREE 19.5 pound turkey!  It was worth the chaos of a busy Winco!  Are you ready for your Thanksgiving?  Are you gathering?  

Today, I want to share a really cute card made with the Curvy Christmas stamp set!  I LOVE it!  Have you gotten yours yet?  It's available while supplies last!  It's ADORABLE!!

Curvy Christmas

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets –Curvy Christmas Stamp Set (155364)

·         Card Stock –Cherry Cobbler (119685); Shaded Spruce (146981); Sahara Sand (121043); Classic Christmas DSP (155969)

·         Stamp Pads – Cherry Cobbler (147083); Shaded Spruce (147088)

·         Misc- Curvy Dies (154319); Stampin’ Seal (152813)

 

Measurements: 

·         Cherry Cobbler: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” score at 4 1/4” on 8 ½” side (card base)

·         Shaded Spruce: 5 1/4 x 4”

·         Sahara Sand: 5 ¼” x 4”; 5” x 3 ¾”

·         Classic Christmas DSP: 2 pieces of Sahara Sand 2” x 5 1/4”; 2 pieces of Shaded Spruce 2” x 5 1/4”; 1 piece of Cherry Cobbler 2” x 5 1/4”

 

Instructions:

1.    Fold Cherry Cobbler c/s in half (card base).

2.    Adhere Shaded Spruce piece centered on Cherry Cobbler base.

3.    Die cut Classic Christmas pieces with the curvy line die.  You should have 10 pieces of curvy papers.

4.    Lay out the curved DSP pieces on the smaller piece of Sahara Sand piece until you are happy with how they line up. See picture for placement. Be sure to leave a gap between the top piece and the bottom pieces.

5.    Stamp the trees in Shaded Spruce in the gap. Then stamp Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler on the bottom Sahara Sand DSP piece in left corner.

6.    Adhere larger Sahara Sand piece on inside of card.

"Make-It Monday" - In the Pines

Hello everyone!  Did you enjoy your weekend?  I sure hope so!  I had a few of my kiddos come for Sunday night dinner and my heart was happy!  I LOVE cookbooks and I LOVE Blue Bloods (their Sunday night dinners has been my dream)!  Well...I found a Blue Bloods cookbook on Amazon and I'm so excited!  The first recipe I used was Yankee Bean Soup and yesterday I made a Corn & Pepper salad.  Both were delicious!  Every Sunday, I'm gonna try a new recipe from the book to celebrate my family!  

Well...it's Monday and I have a wonderful tutorial to share with you today!  ENJOY!

In the Pines

·         Card Stock – Crumb Cake (120953); Soft Sea Foam (146988); Whisper White (100730)

·         Stamp Pads – Crumb Cake (126975)

·         Misc. – Red & Green Foil Sheets (153510); All the Trimmings Embellishments (153540); Paper Snips (103579); Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder (152320); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Stampin’ SEAL (152813)

           

Measurements:  

·         Card Stock 1: Crumb Cake- 8 ½” x 5 ½”               5” x 3 ¾”

·         Card Stock 2: Soft Sea Foam- 3” x 4 ¼”               2 ¼” x ½”

·         Card Stock 3: Whisper White- 2 ¾” x 4”  

·         DSP:  Green Foil Sheet- 2 ½” x 3 ¾”                   

           

Instructions:

1.    Score the Crumb Cake card base at 4 ¼” on the long side and fold in half. Set aside.

2.    Emboss the 5” x 3 ¾” Crumb Cake layer with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

3.    Attach to the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.    Die cut the tree shape using the Pine Wood Dies in the center of the Whisper White layer. Then stamp the image under the tree using Crumb Cake ink.  

5.    Attach the Whisper White layer to the Green Foil paper layer using Stampin’ SEAL adhesive. Add the adhesive to the Whisper White layer then place on green foil so as not to get adhesive showing through the tree die cut.

6.    Then attach that whole piece to the Soft Sea Foam layer with Stampin’ SEAL. Then, that piece will be popped up on the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Stamp your greeting using Crumb Cake ink on the Soft Sea Foam strip. Use Paper Snips to cut your greeting in half then pop it up on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Lastly, add All the Trimmings Embellishments to the front of the tree.
