Sassy Salutations and Timeless Texture Congratulations Card
Good Thursday Morning to you all! I'm heading in to work today to pay bills and then I get to have lunch with a neighbor lady. She is in her 80's and a widow...I try to have lunch with her every Thursday...one week she cooks...one week I bring lunch. I LOVE this time...her stories...her wisdom...her experience! I wish I could do that with my mom but she live so far away...monthly will have to do...cherish that time with friends and family!
I have a card to share with you today that we made in my classes this month! It's a SIMPLE and quick card to make! The colors I chose are Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz.
With my sponge daubers I swiped both colors onto a piece of Whisper Whited cardstock. Next I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. My sentiment is from the Sassy Salutation stamp set...some of my ladies chose the Happy Birthday sentiment and it looked great! Really, you could use any sentiment! I also used my Timeless Textures stamp set to stamp the spots and added some Metallics Sequins to bling it up a bit!
Don't forget to add a little dazzle to the inside of your card...it makes it SPECIAL!
Whoops...I almost forgot...before I put my card together, I used the Punch Corner punch to round the corners of just the bottom corners. SUPER CUTE...SUPER EASY...choose your colors and make one today!

Wood You Be Mine Birthday Card
Hello everyone! I hope you've been having a fantastic day! I'm sorry I've been missing the last few days...it's been so BUSY around here...in addition to our normal schedule, we've had trips to Redding for a doctor's appointments, projects at home getting ready for a Bridal Tea and I still have to make my daughter's Bridal Shower invitations...it's one thing after another! I am TOTALLY flying by the seat of my pants...and LOVIN' EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
I have a new ministry at church that I started back in February. I'm sending birthday and anniversary cards out to folks...it's what I LOVE...and I can't HOARD those cards I've made forever! Yesterday I needed a MASCULINE card and I am NOT VERY GOOD at MASCULINE cards...but I had an idea! I had several Valentines Day cards already made using the, (retired-sorry), Wood You Be Mine stamp set...I'm sure many of you have it because it's so great.
I started with this card....

I started with this card....
and, just by changing the sentiment, I ended with this card...
The really cool thing is that it is going to a gentleman who has made a career in the logging industry. It was just perfect!
I do have a challenge for myself now though...I need to make more MASCULINE cards!
Thanks bunches for stopping by! Make your Wednesday WONDERFUL and find just a moment to create!

Wedding Invitations!!
Good morning ya'll!! Happy Tuesday morning!!! Hoping it's a GREAT day!! Well...my daughter put her invitations in the mail so I guess it's time to share what I created! She is so happy with them!! I must say...I really love them too!!!
I made these invitations using designer paper from the Birthday Bouquet paper pack. It is GORGEOUS paper...and it's retiring...I might have to stock up on some! I used the Curvy Corner three way punch for the top corners. I also used the Envelope Lining Framelits so I could line the envelopes...its a BEAUTIFUL touch! My daughter special order some lovely Peony stamps and a special stamp for their return address. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of them...it was a delightful attention to detail that mom LOVED!

Sheltering Tree Shaker Card
Hello Everyone! I hope you had a FANTASTIC weekend! Our's was very pleasant...not a lot to do...time to relax and recoup from our vacation! We had a great time...but there wasn't a lot of down time...and I LOVE my down time!
Well...I got up this morning thinking I had to make a SHAKER CARD for a Facebook Hop tonight, so I did...and went to schedule it on my facebook only to realize the hop isn't until Thursday, April 7th...so I'm ahead of things and you are going to get a sneak peek!

The base of the card is Early Espresso and the first layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece Tip Top Taupe cardstock that I stamped with the Hardwood image in Tip Top Taupe. I also cut the window, using the Hearth and Home framelit, from the same color. I stamped the tree image on a 2 1/2" X 3 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I adhered a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the window and used the edges from sheets of dimensionals (I layered them two deep) to make my shaker and then attached it to the stamped tree image! WHOOPS...before attaching...I added the left over leaves from the Botanical Builders framelits. That's why it's a fall themed card...I REALLY wanted to use those leaves! The sentiment is from the Happy Home stamp set. I punched it out using the Word Window punch and layered it onto a piece of Hardwood stamped cardstock that I punched with the Washi Label punch. I added a Gold button with some Linen Thread to finish it off!
For the inside of the card I simply stamped off the tree trunk and branches in Soft Suede and added a few leaves at the bottom. The stamped leaves are stamped in Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze!
I LOVE this card a bunch...I don't think I have to wait until fall to send it...do you? It was fun to make...Maybe I'll add a shaker card to this months workshops!
That's all I have for you today! Don't forget to check out the Facebook Hop on Thursday! You can go to my Facebook by clicking on the Facebook icon on the top left corner of my blog or HERE! Thanks for stopping by and have a magnificent rest of your day!!!
