Earlier today for my Tuesday's Tip Video today I was playing with vellum and alcohol techniques.  When I opened my Paper Pumpkin box and saw the vellum inside, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!  I hope that you'll hop along with us for more inspiration!

I colored on my vellum with my Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend Markers, coloring the back of the vellum flowers and leaves.  I love coloring on vellum!  Give it a try when you have time!

Tuesday's Tip - Rubbing Alcohol, Inks and Vellum

Hello everyone and welcome to today's Tuesday's Tip Video!  I had lots of fun playing with my ink, Stampin' Blend Markers, vellum and rubbing alcohol this morning!

Below are some still photos of my creations!  I tried leaving a un-inked leaf on top of a piece of cardstock before stamping it with a block and I love how it turned out!  It will make a really nice FALL card!  Fall can't come soon enough with all the 100* plus weather we're having!

I think these creations as beautiful and I hope you'll give these techniques a try!!

"Make-It Monday" Hand Penned & Flowers of Friendship Tutorial

Hello my crafty friends!  How was your weekend?  I hope it was terrific!  I hosted a 4-day crafting retreat at my place and it was so much fun!  The gals organized, scrapbooked, created mini albums and made some cards!  Lots of creating minds were going!  It was super hot, so it was a great time to be in a nicely air conditioned room (I love my mini-split unit)! 

It's Monday, and I have a lovely and simple "Make-It Monday" tutorial to share with you today!

 

Hand-Penned & Flowers of Friendship Thank You

•      Stamp Pads – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)

•          Misc. – Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (155499); Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (155518); So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack (154905); Pearl Basic Jewels (144219); Flowers & Leaves Punch (155373); Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder (152718); Scalloped Contours Dies (155560); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal (152813); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

 

Measurements: 

•      Fresh Fressia:                      5 1/2" x 8 1/2" -- score at 4 1/4"               1 3/8” x 2 5/8"

•      Mint Macaron:                       2 1/2” x 5 1/4”                                            

•      Basic White:                          4” x 5 1/4"                  1 1/2" x 3"               1 3/4" x 3”

•      Hand-Penned DSP:            2 1/4” x 5”

Instructions:

•      Fold Fresh Freesia on score line

•      Emboss 4” x 5 1/4" Basic White with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

•      Adhere Hand-Penned DSP to Mint Macaron, then Embossed Basic White, then adhere to card front

•      Die cut 1 1/2" x 3” Basic White with Scalloped Contour Die

•      Stamp greeting with Memento

•      Adhere to 1 3/8” x 2 5/8” Fresh Freesia – attach to card front with Dimensionals

•      Stamp one small and large flower with Memento on 1 3/4" x 3” Basic White

•      Color with Stampin’ Blends – small with So Saffron – large with Fresh Freesia

•      Punch out

•      Attach to card front with Dimensionals

•      Add a Pearl to center of each flower

I absolutely LOVE the Hand Penned Bundle and DSP!  

It's so sweet and simple! It makes some beautiful cards!

"Make-It Monday" - Measure of Love

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my blog today!  I hope you had a terrific weekend celebrating the dads in your life!  My weekend was HOT...but fun!  We spent Sunday, after church, at the lake with our paddle boards.  I had never stood on one before so I was really nervous!  I did it and I am hooked!  I hope I paddling away when I'm 80 years old!  It was a super fun thing to do with my daughter, Kate and son Trevor, while my husband fished!  Afterward we enjoyed a delicious carnitas dinner at home!  Enjoying life...hope you are too!

Hey...it's Monday and I want to share my latest tutorial for one of my tutorial groups.  I really love this card!  

Measure of Love

·         Stamp Sets – Measure of Love (154997)

·         Card Stock – Thick Basic White (159229); Bermuda Bay (131197); Basic Black (121045)

·         Stamp Pads – Basic Gray (149165); Real Red (147084); Bermuda Bay (147096); VersaMark (102283)

·         Misc. – Paper Snips (103579); Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins (152477); Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (152718); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653);Heat Tool (129053); Basic Embossing Powders (155554) – use white; Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Bakers Twine Essential Pack (155475); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813);    

Measurements: 

·         Thick Basic White Cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”; 4” x 5 ¼”;  3” x 3” & scrap

·         Bermuda Bay Cardstock 3 ½” x 3 ½”       

           

Instructions:

·         Stamp scale onto 3” x 3” Thick Basic White cardstock with Basic Gray ink then stamp the hearts on top with Real Red ink and attach to Bermuda Bay layer of cardstock with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.

·         Tie a piece of White Bakers Twine into a bow around stamped image. Use Mini Glue Dot to hold in place.

·         Stamp and extra set of hearts in Real Red ink and bowl in Bermuda Bay ink onto a scrap piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and fussy cut out with Paper Snips. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals over Baker’s Twine and scale image.

·         Emboss 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Thick Basic White cardstock using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machin.  Attach to card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.

·         Attach layered stamped image to embossed layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

·         Heat emboss the LOVE YOU MORE sentiment using VersaMark, White Embossing Powder and Heat Tool. Fussy cut with Paper Snips and attach over bowl with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional on one end and a Mini Glue Dot on the other.
