FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Eleven

I'm on the run today....life just seems to happen that way sometimes!  Kate and Adam are getting awards today at school...very exciting...but I didn't know about it until last night...so my day had to change!  Sometimes you just have to roll with it!  I made this cute little box last night with the Envelope punch!  Isn't it cute!!!  I am amazed at what you can do with that envelope punch!  I found the idea and directions on one of my favorite sites http://pinkbuckaroodesigns.blogspot.com....her work is amazing!  If you have any questions, shoot me an email!  Have a great day!

I'm leaving you with one of my FAVORITE quotes!!!

FOURTEEN DAYS OF LOVE - Day Ten

I hope you are enjoying the FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE projects!  I am certain you are going to LOVE today's goodie...both the bag...AND the candy!  This project is the easiest, quickest one so far, but is adorable!  The best thing about it is that you can make six bags with one piece of designer paper.  Here's how....cut a piece of designer paper 4x6.  Score the 4 inch side at 1 inch.  Turn and score the 6 inch side at 1, 2 3/4, 3 3/4 and 5 1/2 inch marks.  On the 6 inch side, cut the score line up to the 1 inch score line.  Cut the tiny rectangle at the end completely off.  Fold on the score lines and adhere...punch two holes at the top to tie your ribbon, but first add your candy.  I added three pieces of Dove chocolate hearts, but it will hold four.  I stamped the You Make Me Happy sentiment (from the Perfect Pennants stamp set) with VersaMark on Strawberry Slush cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder.  I attached it to the ribbon with a silver safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets embellishments!  Another sweet project completed and it took less than ten minutes...and part of that time was spent deciding which stamp to use!  Try it today!  BE CREATIVE and HAVE FUN!!!

Never underestimate the importance of having fun!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Nine

This little treat bag is so fun to make!  I just love that you can put a card in the front, some candy in the center and a gift card or more candy in the back.  I used Bermuda Bay paper from the Designer Paper Pack.  The hearts on the tag are made with the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit.

Here are photos of the front and back of this project...in the front I added a gift tag...in the back, I think I am going to add a gift card...maybe Starbucks or I-tunes...it's a SURPRISE!

I stamped the gift tag with the Decorative Label Monogram stamp I created on page 135 of the annual catalog.  This is a saying I say all the time to my kids so I am very excited to use it on a project for them!  I have several other stamps with favorite quotes/sayings, created using the personalized stamps, that I will be sharing in the VERY near future!  I hope you are having fun creating treats to share with others!  Have a FANTASTIC DAY!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Eight

I found these cute little heart shaped red velvet cakes the other day at the grocery store...the are Little Debbie's!  I bagged one up in a 4x6 cellophane bag, tied a piece of Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon around it and made this cute little tag to finish it off!  Seth, my twenty year old only saw the box, and of course wanted one...but I told him he'd have to wait!  Can't ruin my surprise!!!

The tag was made using the Chalk Talk Framlit.  I cut it out first in Whisper White and again in piece of Bermuda Bay from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack and adhered it to the Whisper White piece.  I embossed a piece of Real Red cardstock using the Adorning Accents embossing folder.  The XOXO was cut using the Circle Thinlit (it is an accent die).  I finished the tag off by adding a piece of Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and a Basic Metal Button with a Bakers Twine bow in it.

I am really loving the Heat and Stick embossing powder to add bling to things!  I used it again here to add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Seven

I finally made it out to my workshop Sunday night!  My intent was to work out there all weekend while my husband went to Davis to visit our oldest son.  My younger ones...Adam and Kate...had other plans...like going for a hike, having friends over, playing catch, watching some TV, making snow cones, having pizza and beer...(oh wait that was my idea!)  I had a great time with them all to myself AND I did get some LOVE projects finished!!

This cute little pouch could not be easier.  I simply cut a piece of Modern Medley designer paper 8 1/2 X 4 1/4 and folded it in half.  I used my Essentials Paper Piercing Pack to poke holes on each side and stitched it with Whisper White Bakers Twine.  I punched a half circle on the front only so you are able to see the Ghirardelli Raspberry Dark Chocolates.  The label is made with the Chalk Talk framelit.  I used the Label Card Thinlit to cut the I {heart} U and used Heat and Stick powder to add my Dazzling Diamonds for sparkle.  I also used the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit for the Very Vanilla Heart, punched the Glimmer Paper heart using the Small Heart Punch, added some Candy Dots with brads and a Silver Taffeta Ribbon bow....and it's finished!!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Six

Today I want to show you just how versatile the framelits are.  This is from the Apothecary set.  I simply cut it out in Real Red cardstock, tied it together with Whisper White ribbon and it holds three Hersey's kisses (these are candy cane kisses left from Christmas).  To decorate this cute candy holder I simply punched two 3/4" circles from Glimmer paper, stamped the sentiment "KISSES" with the Countless Sayings 2 Photopolymer stamp set and backed it with a Bermuda Bay 1 1/4" circle, added a couple of Rhinestones and VIOLA...I was finished!  QUICK AND SIMPLE...my new motto!
Notice, back on Day 2, I used the same framelit as a topper by simply scoring it in half lengthwise.  To make it into a Hershey's kisses holder I simply layed it on my scoring board and scored it at 2" and 3".  I LOVE that you can change it up a bit and use the framelits in so many different ways....MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Five

I'm BACK!!! So sorry...I needed a few days to catch my breath and CATCH UP!!!

My plan is to make my FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE projects quick and simple!  What could be easier than using the Milk Carton Diecut and my Bigshot?  I stamped the hearts with the Language of Love stamp set onto a 1" strip of Whisper White cardstock, then wrapped it around the milk carton.  The be mine is from the Crazy, Mixed up Love stamp set....notice the Basic Pearl as the bee's eye!  The stamped heart is covered by a Glimmer paper punched heart for dimension.  I finished it off by FILLING it with candy and closing it with a mini binder clip that I purchased at an office supply store.  QUICK...SIMPLE...and FUN!!

HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!!!

FOURTEEN DAYS of LOVE - Day Three

Envelope Box

To make this box you simply place a 6x6 piece of designer ( this is Polka Dot on Parade) on the Envelope Punch Board. Score and punch at 3 inches, then score again at 3 ½ inches.  Rotate and repeat two more times.  Rotate a third time but only punch (don’t score).  Adhere with sticky tape or snail adhesive (tombo).  Decorate as you wish.  I used the Love You to the Moon stamp set.  Fill it with gum, chocolate etc. and this cute little 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 card!

It's March 17th.......

Have a FANTASTIC day and ENJOY the corned beef & cabbage!
