Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - My Wonderful Family

Good Evening everyone!  Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  Have FUN as you HOP ALONG!!

I used the Stitched Nested Dies to cut the center of the image part of my card.  I also cut the entire card down to 4" x 5 1/4" to use as a card front.  I stamped the tree image on one of the scraps from cutting the card size down using Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede Ink.  The water colored background is created with an Aqua Painter, Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede and Old Olive ink.  The Mint Macaron cardstock is embossed using the Subtle embossing folder.  I added a few of the butterflies that are in the kit, adding some pearls.  The printed piece that I cut out using the Stitched Nested Dies is used as a background for the sentiment which is backed with Linen Thread and Whisper White Flax Ribbon that I separated into strands!  A fun alternative!

I hope you'll hop along with us tonight!
Up next is Joni at Spotlight Stamping!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - No Matter the Weather

Hello There!  Welcome to this evenings Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop and THANK YOU for hopping along with us!  The March kit is TERRIFIC and you're gonna LOVE all of the inspiration!

I have two project to share with you tonight!  One is a simple card and the other is a SUPER FUN 3-dimensional creation!  I had a lot of fun creating with this set!  This just might be a FAVORITE kit!

My FAVORITE project is my 3D creation!  I used the enclosed acrylic block to make this cute framed art.  First I cut one of the cards in half, put the block on top of it and traced around it with a pencil.  I cut it out and stamped the sentiment with Memento Black ink.  Next, I attached it to the back of the acrylic block attaching it with glue dots, placing them strategically behind the rain boots and grass.  Next I attached the rain boots with dimensionals.  I colored a piece of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding with a Dark So Saffron Stampin' Blend Marker.  I also colored a couple of threads of White Flax Ribbon with the same marker.  I slipped both ribbons and a piece of the twine that is in the kit underneath the boots, wrapping them around the block and tying them into bows.  Last, I added a few raindrops just above the boots!  I gave it as a gift to my husband today and he LOVED it!

My second project was created with the left over piece of card that I cut for the background of my block.  I stamped the grass with Garden Green ink, mounted it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock then onto a piece of Coastal Cabana.  I attached it to a Whisper White Note Card with dimensionals.  Last, I attached the rain boots (these cute boots are in the kit!), with dimensionals and tied a bow on one boot with Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding.  SUPER CUTE and SIMPLE!!

I hope you enjoyed my creations and that you'll be inspired by those to follow! Click below to hop along with us! Next up is

PPP Blog Hop Lovely Day

Hello Everyone and WELCOME to tonight's Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  There are eleven talented demonstrators participating tonight so you'll find lots of FABULOUS inspiration! ENJOY!!

I needed a little bag for a birthday gift and decided to use my Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin kit to create one!  I used the Rich Razzleberry card base to create this cute little bag.

The card base measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and is scored at 4 1/4"

Here's what I did to turn it into a bag.

Cut 1 1/4" off the top of the card (in the portrait position), which makes the card 5 1/2" x 7 1/4".
Use this peace for the strap.
Next...also in the portrait position score each side at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4".
Now...turning the cardstock to the landscape position and score at 3".
In the portrait position cut the two score lines...just to the other score lines and fold into a open box.

I used the Happy Birthday to you stamp set to stamp the cake and cut the stand off.  I attached it to the box with dimensionals.  I colored pearls with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend Marker and attached to the center of the flower. The celebrate is from the Paper Pumpkin kit as is the sentiment.

I tied a SLOPPY bow with 1/4" Copper Trim, Whisper White Flax Ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot Tuller Ribbon, and Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding.

Next up is Lisa at Queen Bee Creations!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Something for Everything

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Possibilities!  The December Paper Pumpkin kit is called Something for Everything and it is so pretty!  I hope you'll hop along with us for lots of FRESH ideas!!

My first alternative project is a candy tube.  I cut 1 1/2" from each side of a card base making a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square that I could use to make this simple tube.  It's so easy...you simply add a strip of Tear & Tape to one side and roll it into a tube, like a toilet paper roll.  Next add more Tear & Tape to one end to close it.  Fill it with candy, punch a couple of holes in the top and tie it together with ribbon.  I used Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding and Bulap Ribbon.  It's such a simple and bright project!
I also wanted to create an alternative card.  I have a son who lives in Phoenix and I need to send him a congratulations card.  I saw the stickers that come in the kit and immediately saw cactus's!  I attached them to a Stitched Rectangle with dimensionals after using my Sponge Brayer to color the sky Balmy Blue and createf the dessert sand with a scrap left over from the candy tube above.  The flowers are also stickers, but I attached them with dimensionals as well.  Last I stamped the sentiment onto another scrap from the tube in white embossing powder and heat embossed it with my heat gun.  Simple...but super cute and PERFECT for my Arizona kid!  I hope he likes it.  There's also some bling in the kit that would look cute on the flowers, but I don think my son would appreciate the bling...so I saved it for another project! LOL!!

November Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop

Hello Every and WELCOME to the November Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  This months kit is FABULOUS!!! I hope you hop along with us because you're gonna find lots of GREAT INSPIRATION!!!

I decided to use my kit to create home decor gifts for the holidays!  Once I started, I couldn't quit!  My mind was overloaded with ideas...but after FIVE projects...I decided I had to take a break and start getting ready for my December classes!

Here goes...I hope you enjoy my creations!!

My first idea was to make a banner with the tags.  I used the Hand Lettered Prose dies to cut the "J" and the "Y" from Sparkle Glimmer paper.  The "O" is created by stacking a couple of snowflakes that are include in the kit!

This cute frame is from IKEA.  It is a frame for two photos and sells for $1.00...what and AFFORDABLE project this would be for a gift or class!  I cut the star with the Stitched Stars Dies and the background designer paper is from the Let It Snow paper pack.

This fun project is an 8" x 8" shadow box. The background is an 8" x 8" piece of  Mossy Meadow cardstock with a 6" x 6" piece of Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Paper.  The Pool Party background is two tags cut down to 2" x 4" and put together.  I LOVE this designer paper so much!!

My next shadow box has an 8" x 8" piece of Let It Snow designer paper as it's background.  All of the other supplies are from the November Paper Pumpkin kit except the rhinestones.  Isn't is FABULOUS?  It's really a GREAT kit!

My last project just might be my favorite!  I used the Woodland Embossing Folder to emboss and ink a 6" x 6" piece of  Thick Whisper White cardstock then mounted it onto a 8" x 8" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The snow is cut by hand, using the Sparkle Glimmer paper and I added a cute little Jingle Bell to the Reindeer!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Winter Woods

Hi there and welcome to this evenings Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! November's Paper Pumpkin Kit is beautiful and I was excited to do something different with it!  You'll find so much inspiration by hopping along with us tonight!

For my project I purchased an acrylic frame at my local dollar store.  I cut the card front down to 3 1/4" x 5" and mounted it onto a 4" x 6" piece of Night of Navy cardstock.  I added some snoflake sequins and slipped it inside the acrylic frame.

Next I used the birch trees (they are in the November kit).  I added Snowflake Accent Puff Paint to the white space beneath the trees and heat embossed it.  I added the red robins (also from the kit) with glue dots.  I attached the entire piece to the outside of the acrylic frame with dimensionals.

Last, I used the Hand Letter Prose dies to cut the word PEACE form Real Red Glimmer Paper and glued it to the snow with Multipurpose glue! I also added a triple bow of Linen Thread and single Real Red Cotton Ribbon bow with glue dots!  I LOVE IT and hope you do too!

Thank you for following along and allowing us to share what's possible with Paper Pumpkin!
