Lego Happy Birthday!

Good morning!  I hope you're having a lovely day!  I've been to the gym...and to the doctor.  My husband is having a bout of vertigo so we went to get some exercises for him try!  Praying it works!

Hey...I have a super fun project to share with you today!  I make birthday and anniversary cards for my church...write a note and a verse in them then give them to our pastor to write in and mail!  We have a seven year old boy who LOVES Legos and this is the card I made for him!  I LOVE IT!

My 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base is Garden Green with a 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White top layer.  Each square is 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" cut from Pacific Point, Crushed Curry and Real Red cardstock.  The circles are punched with the 1/2" Circle Punch and attached with Mini dimensionals. I used my White Stampin' Chalk Marker to add a highlight to each circle. The  Happy Birthday sentiment is stamped in Garden Green ink using the Perennial Birthday stamp set!  I LOVE the font of this sentiment and use it often!

Isn't it super CUTE?  It was super easy too!  Oh...I almost forgot...I put a lego on the inside as well!  SO FUN!!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by today!  Have a TERRIFIC day!  I hope you find time to CREATE and may make a Lego card for that special little fella in your life!

PPP Blog Hop Lovely Day

Hello Everyone and WELCOME to tonight's Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  There are eleven talented demonstrators participating tonight so you'll find lots of FABULOUS inspiration! ENJOY!!

I needed a little bag for a birthday gift and decided to use my Lovely Day Paper Pumpkin kit to create one!  I used the Rich Razzleberry card base to create this cute little bag.

The card base measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and is scored at 4 1/4"

Here's what I did to turn it into a bag.

Cut 1 1/4" off the top of the card (in the portrait position), which makes the card 5 1/2" x 7 1/4".
Use this peace for the strap.
Next...also in the portrait position score each side at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4".
Now...turning the cardstock to the landscape position and score at 3".
In the portrait position cut the two score lines...just to the other score lines and fold into a open box.

I used the Happy Birthday to you stamp set to stamp the cake and cut the stand off.  I attached it to the box with dimensionals.  I colored pearls with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend Marker and attached to the center of the flower. The celebrate is from the Paper Pumpkin kit as is the sentiment.

I tied a SLOPPY bow with 1/4" Copper Trim, Whisper White Flax Ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot Tuller Ribbon, and Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding.

Next up is Lisa at Queen Bee Creations!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by tonight! Enjoy the hop!

It's Monday...so it's time for a fun "Make-It Monday"!  I hope you are INSPIRED!

Happy Birthday to You & the NEW Birthday Dies!

Hello there!  HAPPY Friday! Last night my daughter and I, with a couple of her friends, went down to Redding to watch our varsity girls basketball play in there first playoff game.  They won and it was a great game, but it was a bit hard to go...it felt like I was missing something.  I was, it was Adam...he should have been there cheering his friends on too.  I'm going to a Grief Share class with my husband and it talks about ambushes...that  was definitely an ambush...tears flowed.  Today, is a beautiful day though.  Skies are blue and the sun is out in my little mountain town. I love it, but I'm also praying for more snow and rain.  We are way below average and it always makes for fire worries.  Until the rain come though...I will enjoy the sunshine!

Today's card is made with the Happy Birthday to You stamp set and I absolutely LOVE IT!  This simple and pretty card is easy to make...here's how!

The card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and is scored at 4 1/4".  The Petal Pink layer is 4" x 5 1/4" and has Happy Birthday stamped in the lower left corner with Gray Granite ink.  The cake is also stamped with Gray Granite in and cut out with the NEW Birthday Dies.  I used Petal Pink ink and a dauber to add color to the flowers and colred theleaves with a Light Old Olive Stampin Blends Marker.  I finished the card up by adding some white twine (stripped from Whisper Whited Flax Ribbon) and a few Basic Pearl Jewels.  The cake is attache with dimensionals!  Isn't it pretty?!?!

Tuesday's Tip - Sunset at the Eiffel Tower with Stampin' Up!'s Parisian ...

Hello everyone!  Hoping all is well in your neck of the woods and I hope you enjoy my Tuesday's Tip Video today!  It was my daughter's idea!  She watches my videos!!! WOW...that does a moms heart good!!

Here's my INSPIRATION! I LOVE Pinterest...there are so many great ideas!  I also love goggling images of flowers, sunsets, sunrises, places for my inspiration!  They're always a little bit different and help me to come up with my own creations!  I googled images of the Eiffel Tower at sunset and this was one of the photos that came up and I just HAD to turn it into a card!

What could be more perfect the a French Thank You card?  I LOVE IT!

I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie ink and my Stampin' Up! Sponge Brayers to create the background.  I also used the Parisian Labels Dies to cut out the Eiffel Tower and Merci!  The circle mask was punched with the 1 1/2" Circle Punch and I also used the Rectangles Stitched dies for the sentiment and the backround (on the video)!

Well...thanks BUNCHES for stopping by today and allowing me to share what I love to do with you!  Have a FABULOUS rest of your day!  I hope you find time to create!
