"Make-It Monday" - In the Pines

Hello everyone!  Did you enjoy your weekend?  I sure hope so!  I had a few of my kiddos come for Sunday night dinner and my heart was happy!  I LOVE cookbooks and I LOVE Blue Bloods (their Sunday night dinners has been my dream)!  Well...I found a Blue Bloods cookbook on Amazon and I'm so excited!  The first recipe I used was Yankee Bean Soup and yesterday I made a Corn & Pepper salad.  Both were delicious!  Every Sunday, I'm gonna try a new recipe from the book to celebrate my family!

Well...it's Monday and I have a wonderful tutorial to share with you today!  ENJOY!

12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas - Peaceful Boughs Box...Week Twelve

Hello everyone!  Some days are just hard and yesterday was one of them. It's crazy how life hits you hard some times and you don't think you can handle it but with God's help you do and then the next day life just seems different! Yesterday, I woke up not wanting to do anything but go back to bed...I was so tired and drained. I needed to bake cookies & order gifts (I had done ZERO...yes 0 shopping).  I needed to get ready for my class in Redding that is happening today! Really, all I wanted to do was stay in bed and cry, but I forced myself to get moving...got a couple of batches of snowballs made to send to my son in Phoenix with his Christmas gifts, sadly he won't be coming home.  I got lots of gifts bought...YAY!  Made my downline gifts and got them ready to mail and got everything together for class! I even had time to make little gifts for my customers AND put labels on my NEW Mini Catalogs and Sale-a-Bration Brochures! I'm was packed and ready to go by 10:30pm!

Today I woke this morning feeling strong, ready to go and excited to see my ladies down the mountain in Redding.  It's suppose to start snowing in about an hour and I need to leave in about two hours...hoping there's not so much snow that I have to cancel...or that I can't get home!  Time will tell!!

I'm excited to share the last 12 Weeks of Stampin' Up! Christmas projects with you today!  It's a FUN...QUICK...and EASY last minute treat box!  BE INSPIRED!!!

Copper Dotted Treat Bag - OVER THE TOP!

Hello and how are you doing today?  Gosh...it's been a SUPER busy morning!  I've been baking...baking...baking!  For our 50th Annual Candy Cane Basketball Tournament!  One back of peanut butter cookies burned...but that was the only casualty!  I also tried a new chocolate cookie recipe (that my husband loves) and my new brownie pan! This pan is so cool...you bake individual square brownies so each brownie has four edges!  Edges are the BEST! I'm done now so on to blogging!

Today I want to share a quick and pretty gift bag idea!  It's created with the Copper Dotted Treat Bag!

I used my Pool Party Stampin' Blend to color my bag.  Isn't it pretty?  I think it's a FANTASTIC idea...not mine, sadly...but FANTASTIC!!

I love the sloppy bow look so I folded the top of the bag over, punched a couple of holes in it and slipped a piece of ribbon through both holes and tied it in a half knot.  Next I laid a strip of lace, polka dotted tool and burlap ribbon over the top of the half knot and tied another knot to hold them all in place!  I LOVE the look...kind BOHO CHIC!!

I haven't tried coloring the bag any other colors yet, but plan on doing it soon for some Valentine projects!  STAY TUNED!!

HEY...thanks BUNCHES for stopping by today!  Enjoy your weekend...be safe and patient in the crowds!  I hope you find a moment or two to CREATE!

SIMPLE Home Decor Ideas for Christmas!

Good morning to all my crafty friends!  Thanks for checking in today and THANK YOU to all of you who took advantage of FREE SHIPPING yesterday and ordered from me!  You keep me going!

Remember my November Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop...where I used that months kit to create framed art!  I have fallen in love with framing my art and I want to share some more of it today!

I was asked to be a designer on the Facebook page called 3-D Thursdays and this is what I created for it!  I used the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set to stamp the buffalo plaid background in Memento Black Ink.  I stamped two, trimmed them close and overlapped them so that it looks like one piece.  Next I cut a tree from Night Before Christmas 6" x 6" designer paper with the Pine Tree punch and attached it with dimensions.  I added a star cut from Sparkle Glimmer paper that I cut with the Stitched Star Framelits and attached it with dimensionals as well.  Last I attached the piece to a 5" x 7" piece of Basic Black cardstock and put it in my frame!  SUPER CUTE and SUPER EASY!!!

...but wait...

...there's more!

I created this one exactly the same way as above but added the word JOY! I cut the JOY with the Hand Lettered Prose Dies from Basic Black cardstock and attached it with Multipurpose Glue.  This time I tried it in a black frame!  SO FUN!!

Ok...ok...ONE MORE!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ONE!!!  I cut a piece a Basic Black cardstock to fit my frame opening which is 3 1/2" x 5".  Using the Snow Front stamp set, I stamped the trees in VersaMark and heat embossed them using white embossing powder.  I was able to center them and make sure they were straight using my grid paper.  You can also use your Stamparatus to get them in the perfect spot. This would make really cute cards, but I love it as framed art as well!

Snowman Season

Hello everyone!  How's your Friday going?  I tried doing a Facebook Live Video this morning. I thought it would be easy...BUT NO...it was a DISASTER!!! I have so much to learn!  I do have a project to share with you today! Hope is INSPIRES you to CREATE!

I joined a group of demos who are sending cards to each other monthly and here's the one I sent.  The cardbase is Whisper White piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  The top layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Let It Snow specialty designer paper.  The Real Read square is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4", the Whisper White square is 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" and the Feels Like Frost 6" x 6" designer paper is 3" x 3".  The snowman is stamped with Gray Granite ink using the Snowman Season stamp set and punched with the Snowman Builder punch.  Let It Snow is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto a Stitched Square.  I added a cute snowflake sequin to the top hat (also punched with the Snowman Punch) and a couple of red rhinestones to the sentiment!  Isn't he CUTE?

Well..that's it for today!  I'm heading down to Willam's with my family to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday!  There's a FANTASTIC steak house there called Louie Cairo's. It will be fun to see our adult kids and have them there to help us celebrate. It will be DELICIOUS too!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by today!  Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!! Hope you get all the things you need to get done for the Thanksgiving holiday!
