Tag and Candle...last minute gift!

Good morning!  Merry Christmas Eve!  I hope you get to spend the day with friends and family...getting ready for Christmas tomorrow! NO STRESS involved!

I have a quick post today...another candle...a VERY simple design.  I didn't even add any embellishments.  PURE SIMPLICITY!

I used the Lovely As a Tree stamp set and again stamped on tissue with Old Olive ink...then I sponged some Bermuda Bay ink around the tree.  I wrapped the tissue around the candle, topped it with wax paper and used my heat gun to melt the image onto the candle.   SIMPLE!

I also have a quick tag to share.  I made it with the Chalk Talk framelits using Lost Lagoon cardstock.  I sponged the tag with White ink, added the Real Red Cotton ribbon, some Frosted Sequins embellishment and the house is stamped on white cardstock with Holiday Home stamp set and cut out with the Holiday Home framelits.  I stamped the wreath (Holiday Home stamp set) and added some Basic Pearls which I had colored red with my Blendabilities.  The roof was cut with the Holiday Home framelits in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper!

I hope you like what I have shared with you today...but honestly...I hope you aren't having to come up with any last minute gifts...I hope you are just
enjoying your day!

Thanks for coming by!  I'll see you again after Christmas~

White Christmas Candle

Good morning!  WOW....this month has gone by so fast!  I am heading to Modesto to have Christmas with my mom and brother today, but I wanted to share a candle that I made with the White Christmas stamp set!   I LOVE how it turned out!  I stamped it on white tissue paper, inked some color in the sky and colored in parts of the snowman. I then placed the tissue paper around the candle, put some wax paper on top and used my heat gun to melt the image onto the candle!  I added some Real Red satin ribbon and a All is Calm embellishment with some linen thread.  This would make such a great gift and I know the recipient would love it!

Give it a try...with any stamp set!  It's a FUN project!

Blessings to you and yours this lovely Monday!

Advent Calendar

Good Morning!  I hope  you had a wonderful weekend!   I was FINALLY able to get my tree up.  My husband ended up buying one.  We live in the mountains and normally find a beautiful spot to go cut one down...but this year we couldn't make it work.  He was on call and couldn't leave one weekend...I had a retreat one weekend....he was on call again....SO...of to the lumber store to buy a tree and boy is it a PUNY tree....but we have one!

While decorating, I realized I hadn't shared this years Advent calendar with you all.  So that's what I have for you today!  I made it with the Curvy Keepsake box framelits and the 25 Days Polymer stamp set.  Crazy thing about this set was that it came to me in three different languages.  Stampin' up has since sent me a new stamp set, but I had to improvise on my advent calendar.  See if you can see where!

I noticed after posting these photos that I forgot to bling up 23
....better get to it!

Here's the a picture of the 25 Days stamp set....see if you can figure out which number I had to improvise on!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!  It's such a busy time of year!  Stay SAFE!

Christmas Tags

HELLO!  I didn't have any power yesterday morning so I couldn't do anything in my workshop....but I do have a couple of tags to share with you.  Nice and simple to add to your Christmas packages.
The to: from: are from the Cheerful Tag stamp set.  I cut the tags out of Crumb Cake and Lost Lagoon with the Chalk Talk framelits.  I inked the edges of the Christmas tree tag with Early Espresso ink and the edges of the snowman tag with Whisper White ink.   I used circle punches, the heart punch and the Christmas tree punch for the punch art.  The embellishments I used are frosted sequins, candy dots, 1/4" cotton ribbon and 1/8" taffeta ribbon.  EASY and QUICK!

I was thinking I could make a different tag for each of my children...that would be great way for me to know whose package is whose with out them knowing (I would't put the to and from).  I usually use different wrapping paper for each child...so this would be something new!  BETTER get BUSY!

I thank you all for visiting my blog and sharing your comments!  It means so much to know that you like what I do and can find inspiration here!  This probably sounds silly...but I just wanted you to know I APPRECIATE YOU!!!

Have a FANTASTIC FRIDAY and ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Card

Hey there my crafty friends!  I hope your day is going GREAT!  We are getting gobs of rain up here in Weaverville!  We woke up to no power....so school was cancelled and my kiddos are home with me and we have been playing TRANSFORMER MONOPOLY all morning!  FUN TIMES....GOOD MEMORIES!

I was suppose to have a class this morning down in Redding...but my ladies just didn't want to face the 70 mph winds the weather man was predicting...so I cancelled it.  The power is back on and I want to share one of the cards we were going to make!  I LOVE it.....this one just might be the card I send out this year...(I BETTER GET STARTED!!!)

The colors I chose are Basic Gray, Real Red, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.  I stamped the Basic Gray piece with Versa Mark using the Hardwood background stamp.  I then used the Chalk Talk framelits to make a frame in the same piece of card stock.  I used the Merry Everything stamp set to stamp on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that fit under the frame, after stamping it I adhered it to a piece of Real Red cardstock. I then wrapped a piece of the Real Red Satin Woven ribbon around the left side of the card,  tied on an All Is Calm embellishment with Linen Thread, added a few snowflakes from the Frosted Sequins and some Basic Rhinestones to finish it off and then I attached it over the Merry Chirstmas, with dimensionals, onto the Real Red Cardstock.  I think I will add the sentiment from the Ornamental Pine stamp set to the inside of the card...it says "May the peace and beauty of the season remain with you throughout the coming year".

That's all I have for ya today...the power is back on...so I better get something done today!  The kids want COOKIES!

Thanks for stopping by today and following my blog!  If you are one of my Redding gals...I SURE DID MISS YOU TODAY!

Here are this weeks "WEEKLY DEALS"! There are some GREAT ones!  I especially love the Envelope Liner framelits and the Wooden Elements!

And here is a groovy new Photopolymer stamp set that I LOVE, called Snuggles and Smooches!

Snowman Card

Good Morning!  Well...I'm headed back to Weaverville today...trying to beat the storm...but I do have a card to share with you before I leave!  I used the snowman that I used for my curvy keepsake box....he makes a cute card don't ya think?!

You can find the instructions for him under my tutorials section (my only tutorial so far!)  and just add him to a card.  I adhered him to Lost Lagoon cardstock that I inked with white craft ink.  I LOVE how he turned out!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!

The GRINCH curvy keepsake box

"Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store.  Maybe Christmas, perhaps, is a little bit more." -the Grinch

Sorry this is so late...I had go to Modesto today to help my mom!  I headed down the mountain after I took kiddos to school this morning and we just finished!  Glad to have things finished though...for now!  I wanted to share my "GRINCH" box with you today.  I used the 2 1/2" circle punch for his head, his hat is made with the Christmas tree punch, the eyes, nose and eyebrows are made with oval punches and his hat rim and collar are both made with the scalloped circle punch.  Isn't he FUN!

That's all for today!  Hope you like him!  I'm gonna get tomorrow's post ready now so I'm not so late!  I'm gonna try to head home early in the morning to beat the storm!

Stay SAFE...and KEEP CRAFTING!

Christmas Treat Holder

Good Monday morning!  It's a gloomy, rainy day here in Weaverville...a GREAT day to sip hot chocolate by the fireplace and relax!  ....BUT....I have a workshop tonight that I MUST prepare for!  I had a retreat this weekend...so I am a bit behind!  HAHA....story of my life!  I do want to share with you today! Remember that cute little snowman tag I made a couple of weeks ago?  Well today I want to share what I did with it!

This container is made by recycling Crystal Light containers. I wrapped them in All is Calm designer paper, added a ribbon around the lid with red sticky tape and added the tag! I filled them with candy and scrapbooking trinkets!

I gave them as gifts at my retreat and my ladies LOVED them!

They make a great gift...go together quickly and you can make them any theme you want....just by changing the designer paper and tag!

HOPE YOU HAVE FUN CREATING TODAY!!!

Ribbon Christmas Tree

Happy Monday to you  this morning!  I hope you had a TERRIFIC Thanksgiving...enjoying your friends and family!  Maybe you even got a little bit of creating in over the four day weekend!  I got caught up on a few things...YIPPEE!!!  I'm THRILLED!

I have a Christmas tree card that I made out of ribbon to share with you today!

The colors I chose for this card are Early Espresso, Real Red, Whisper White, and Old Olive (the ribbon).  I simply zig zagged the ribbon...attaching it with glue dots.  I made a tree truck out of Early Espresso card stock, cutting it by hand and then running it though the Woodgrain embossing folder.  I colored some Basic Pearls with my Real Red Blendabilitie, cut a star out of a piece of Silver Foil Sheet and added some Basic Rhinestones so the background wasn't so plain.  I LOVE it's simplicity.  I added a sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set on the inside (should have taken a picture)...it says HAPPY WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS.

I sent out an email today...but just in case you missed it...here are today's DOOR BUSTER DEALS!

...and here are the Weekly Deals...they end today!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY!  See ya again tomorrow!

Have a blessed day!!

Holiday Tag

Good Tuesday Morning to my paper crafting friends!  I hope you are having a FABULOUS day!  I have a QUICK share for you today....a FUN gift tag that I made for a retreat treat!

Isn't this adorable?!?!  I used the Chalk Talk framelits to cut the tag in Lost Lagoon, inked it with Crafters White ink, added a sentiment and some frosted sequins, rhinestones and made a punch art snowman using the 1 3/4" circle punch, the Heart punch (for the nose), the 1" circle punch for the mouth and I colored some Perfect pearls for the eyes!  SUPER EASY and SUPER CUTE!  It would be really cute with at TO: FROM: stamped on it too.  I am using it on a treat I have made for my upcoming retreat...I don't want to ruin the surprise, so I will show you that treat during or after the retreat!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC and BLESSED day!

Hope to see you again....REALLY SOON!
