Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - Sweet Sunflowers

Hello there and welcome to tonight's Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! I hope you'll hop along with us! I know you are going to see many beautiful alternatives to use with your Sweet Sunflowers kit!    

My project tonight is a framed art piece using an 8" x 8" shadow box from Michaels!  I used part of one of the cards and matted it onto a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock. Next, I used one of the gold honeycomb piece as a stencil, my blending brush and Crushed Curry Ink to add honeycombs to and 8" x 8" piece Thick Basic White cardstock.  I mounted the matted card onto this piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I also used one of the punch out flowers and fussy cut the sunflower to add in the left corner and tied a triple strand of Linen Thread into a bow at the bottom.  In the right corner, I used the Sending Smiles Bundle (such a FUN bundle) to add a sentiment to the bottom!  Last, I added some Evening Evergreen bling from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds! 

I LOVE how my home decor turned out!  I hope you love it too!

Spruced Up Christmas Tag

Hello everyone!  WOW!  It's Friday already!  This week went by so fast!  Remember back on Tuesday...on my Tuesday's Tip Video, I showed you how to emboss the Flat Jingle Bells to make them silver?  I also used the tag that I swiped with VersaMark and heat embossed white on the top and black on the bottom.  I love the shine! Both of these are such a fun technique!  Well...today, I want to show you what I did with that jingle bell!  I love how this Christmas tag turned out!

I used the Spruced Up Bundle for the sentiment and to cut the trees.  The little black and white trees are fussy cut out from the Celebrate Everything designer paper along with the green background of the tag.  This paper is FABULOUS and you can choose it as a hostess gift by hosting a workshop or place an order over $150.   The tag is cut with the Tailor Made Dies!

"Make-It Monday" - Heron Habitat

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a lovely weekend!  Did you find anytime to create?  I made one card...a card for my daughter Kate, who was baptized in the Trinity River on Saturday.   It was a pretty awesome day!

Welcome to this weeks "Make-It Monday" Tutorial.  I chose today's card in honor of "Where the Crawdads Sing".  I loved the book and the movie almost as much! It played at our local theater this weekend so we just had to go see it!  I hope you feel the peacefulness of this card!  It's quite beautiful!
