Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop - Welcome Inn

Hello everyone and WELCOME to this evenings Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  I'm thrilled that you stopped by!  When I saw this Paper Pumpkin, I say Red, White & Blue and I decided I wanted to create some Hershey Nugget Treat Holders for the holidays!

I used the card bases for the treat holders.  The measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" so I had to trim them a bit. First, I cut 1 1/2" from the 8 1/2" side making it 4" x 8 1/2". Next,  I cut 1/4" from one of the 4" ends then flipped it over and cut it at 6 1/2" ( I did this to put the card fold at 4" instead of 4 1/4".  I then scored the 4" x 6 1/2" card base at 1 1/4", 2 1/2" (4" already scored) and 5 1/4". Last, I cut it in half (at 2") so I'd have two scored strips.  It's a time saver to score first then cut!

Each treat holder holds four Hershey's Nuggets! With this kit you can make 18 of these cut nugget holders with lots of leftover pieces to use for other creations!

I used some of my scraps to make the background on the card below using that 1 1/2" strip I cut in the beginning.  It measures 1 1/2" x 3 3/4" and I just added it to a Thick Basic White card base.  I love how it turned out!

Cheerful Daisies Tutorials

Hello everyone!  I'm so glad you're here!  Gosh....life is so busy! I spent the day with my oldest granddaughter yesterday and it was so fun....and a little exhausting!  We did have a nice, one hour nap together!  She's just about 15 months old and is such a delight!  Yesterday...I decided to not try to get anything done and just focus on her.  I don't want to miss a thing and I want to be a grammy that she (and the others), remember as loving them so much!  I have to get better organized and find a balance with my Stampin' Up! world, grammy world, mom world, husband world, friend world, church world. There are so many things that distract me and I don't want to be distracted, I want the people in my life to know just how very important they are to me...including my customers and team!  I guess I'm a work in progress...figuring it out day by day! How do you find a balance in your life?  I'd love to read your wisdom in the comments below!
