ICS Blog Hop - Begginner, Casual, Avid Stamper Cards

Hello there and WELCOME to this evenings Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop!  There are 15 demonstrators participating so you will find so much inspiration from hopping along with us tonight! Our theme is Beginning Stamping, Casual Stamping and Avid Stamping so each of us will showcase three different cards using the same stamp set...but stepping it up a notch with each card!

I'm using the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set.  My Beginner Card is created using the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.  I stamped with Balmy Blue and Gray Granite inks and colored my rain boots with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend.

My Casual Stamper Card is stepped up a notch by adding a Whisper White layer of cardstock to a Balmy Blue card base and another layer of  Pleased As Punch Designer Paper for the background.  I also used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle from Thick Whisper White cardstock to do my stamping on.  I attached the stamp image with dimensional and added a bow using Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding.

My Avid Stamper card is stepped up one more notch by adding layers.  I added a Crushed Curry scalloped rectangle layer using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Before I attached it with dimensionals, I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Crinkled Seam binding around the first two layers, tying it into a bow.  I wrapped Linen Thread around the bow and tied it into another bow.  I stamped the raindrops and umbrella handle onto the next smaller scalloped rectangle using the same dies. The umbrella is cut from the Pleased As Punch dsp using the Umbrella Builder Punch.  The rain boots are stamped in Gray Granite ink and colored with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Blend (light & dark) and then fussy cut out.  I also stamped the flowers in Gray Granite ink, colored them with Flirty Flamingo (light and dark) and Old Olive (light) Stampin' Blend Markers.  The flowers are fussy cut as well.  The umbrella, flowers and rain boots are and sentiment are all attached with dimensionals.  Last....I added several Pearl Basic Jewels to finish it off!

I hope you ENJOY the Blog Hop tonight and are INSPIRED!
