Instructions:
·
Score Balmy Blue base card at 4-1/4 and
fold.
·
Emboss Crumb Cake layer with Absolutely
Argyle Embossing Folder and add to front.
·
Add DSP along left side.
·
Adhere strip of Early Espresso across
the front towards bottom.
·
Watercolor Whisper White c/s with Balmy
Blue and Crumb Cake Inks and AquaPainter for background (Balmy Blue on top 2/3
and Crumb Cake on bottom 1/3).
·
Stamp dock image in Saddle Brown
Stazon. Watercolor dock and bird with
Crumb Cake Ink to fill in a little.
·
Use largest Stitched So Sweetly Scallop
Rectangle to cut panel and stamp greeting with Early Espresso Ink in upper
right. Add to front with Stampin’
Dimensionals.
·
Stamp two oars with Early Espresso Ink
on Crumb Cake c/s, cut with Dockside Die and adhere to top left corner.
·
Cut grass from Mossy Meadow c/s with
Dockside Die and adhere towards right side.
Color top of cat-tail with Early Espresso Ink.
·
Stamp frog with Saddle Brown Stazon on
scrap Whisper White c/s, color with Granny Apple Green Blends, cut with
Dockside Die and add to grass with Stampin’ Dimensional.

Card Base: Basic Black 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”. Score and fold at 4-1/4”

Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4”

Fluid 100 Color Watercolor Paper: 5 ¼” x 4”
Instructions:
·
Using the watercolor paper, paint the
background for the card. For the water
fill the aqua painter with water and a couple of drops of Pacific Point. Lightly swipe the ink and start coloring the
water. Using the Night of Navy ink pad squeeze the
pad so that some ink is on the inside of the front cover. Rub the aqua painter with some of the Night
of Navy ink and blend in small amounts until you achieve the desired finish. For the sky fill two aqua painters with
water. Add a few drops of Mango Melody
to one and Dark Pumpkin Pie to the other. Lightly swipe as the ink from the
aqua painters to paint the sky. Using
the Crushed Curry Ink Pad, squeeze the pad so that some of the ink is on the
inside of the front cover. Rub the aqua painter with the crushed curry and
blend until the desired finish.
·
Stamp the dock and boat with black
memento, color as desired with blender markers.
·
Die cut dock and boat using a die
cutting machine. Touch up any edges as
required.
·
Cut left hand edge of dock to have a
straight edge.
·
Adhere both the dock and boat to the
water color paper as shown.
·
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment and
bird using memento.
·
Last adhere the whisper white card stock
to the inside.
·
Your card is now complete!

Instructions:
·
Use Aqua Painter and saturate a small
area on the scrap piece of watercolor paper.
Sprinkle with Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkle. (Color will be extremely intense.
·
Move over to 3 ¾” x 5” piece of
Watercolor paper and saturate the bottom one-third of paper with water.
·
Saturate another area on the scrap piece
of watercolor paper and pick up just a small amount of the wet pigment
sprinkles. Continue to add water until
you get a light enough color and apply to wet area of your project to create
water area.
·
Squeeze the lid of the Balmy Blue ink
pad and open. Pick up a small amount of
ink using Aqua Painter and apply to top area of watercolor paper to create sky.
·
Stamp two bird, dock and frog onto scrap
piece of Whisper White using Memento ink.
·
Color birds using light Balmy Blue blend
pen.
·
Color dock using light and dark Crumb
Cake blends.
·
Color frog using light Crumb cake and
light Granny Apple Green blend
·
Stamp sentiment on Follow Your Art Designer
Series Paper using Memento ink and punch out using Label Me Lovely Punch.
·
Trim off sides of punched piece at first
curve.
·
Cut a 6” piece of the Braided Burlap
Trim. Pull the trim apart
completely.
·
Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, take one
strand of trim and attach to dock along the stamped rope on the top right
pier. Twist around back and secure with
glue.
·
Wrap over to top left pier and secure
with glue.
·
Wrap around pier with bird three times
and secure with glue. Trim excess.
·
Die cut out the shoreline from Pear
Pizzazz scrap. Attach to card.
·
Attach dock, frog, one bird and
sentiment using Dimensionals.
·
Glue one bird to sentiment.
·
Card complete!
