Lovely Lily Pad Tutorials

Hey there and HAPPY Friday!  We should be getting back to Weaverville tonight! What a whirlwind trip!  I'm thrilled to have Erik and his girlfriend Robin close to home again.  It's been FIVE YEARS!

Here are a couple of tutorials for you to using the FREE Lovely Lily Pad SAB items!  ENJOY!!

Lovely Lily Pad

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets:  Lovely Lily Pad (152288), Peaceful Moments (151595)

·         Cardstock:  Melon Mambo, Whisper White

·         Ink:  Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock, Melon Mambo

·         Tools & Accessories:  Lily Pad dies (152315)

·         Designer Paper:  Lily Impressions (152284)

·         Misc: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Wink of Stella (141897), Paper Piecing Technique used in upper right-hand corner

           

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Melon Mambo  4-1/4”  x  8-3/4”  scored at 5-1/2”

·         Cardstock:  Melon Mambo strip  1-1/4”  x  5”  scored at 1/8” on long side

·         Cardstock:  Whisper White  4”  x  5-1/4” (inside card)  and  3-1/8”  x  4-1/8” (mat)

·         Designer Paper:  Lily Impressions 3”  x  4”   and   1”  x  3”                   

           

Instructions:

·         Fold card base on score line as shown in picture

·         On 3” x 4” Designer Paper stamp closed lily in a random pattern using Melon Mambo ink

·         Adhere to Whisper White mat and then adhere both to panel on left front of card

·         Stamp large lily and medium lily on designer paper using Blackberry Bliss ink and then die cut images using outline/frame dies

·         Die cut medium lily from designer paper using the detailed die and remove all inner pieces

·         Adhere this to larger lily

·         Die cut medium lily using detailed die from Melon Mambo (discard small pieces) and again from the designer paper (save small pieces).

·         Insert and adhere small pieces inside the Melon Mambo die cut using Paper Piecing Technique

·         Adhere this completed lily to top right corner of Whisper White

·         Stamp sentiment at bottom right corner of Whisper White

·         Fold Melon Mambo strip on score line and adhere to back of Whisper White to create the swing fold

·         Adhere Designer Paper strip to right end of Melon Mambo strip

·         Adhere Whisper White to inside of card

·         Adhere 2 lilies to left end of swing fold strip so they are centered on front panel

·         Crease all folds with bone folder to assure they will lay flat

·         Adhere rhinestones randomly on card front and inside small lily

·         Enjoy!

·         Ink: Melon Mambo (147051), Old Olive (147090), Blackberry Bliss (147092)

·         Tools & Accessories:Lily Pad Dies (152315), Stitched Shapes Dies (145372), Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder (149713), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Whisper White Baker’s Twine (124262), Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

·         Designer Paper: Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (152284)

           

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” 

·         Cardstock #2: Whisper White 4” x 5-1/4” 

·         Cardstock #3: Coastal Cabana 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” 

·         Designer Paper: Lily Impressions 2-1/2” x 4-3/4” 

·         Scraps of Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White and Vellum for stamping and die cutting                     

Instructions:

·         Emboss Coastal Cabana Cardstock using Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder.

·         Stamp one lily image on Melon Mambo Cardstock in Melon Mambo Ink, then die cut using Lily Pad Dies. (if desired, add Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to parts of the stamped image for added sparkle)

·         Stamp one lily pad image on Old Olive Cardstock in Old Olive Ink, then die cut using Lily Pad Dies

·         Stamp “for you” sentiment from So Sentimental Stamp Set on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, approximately 2” x 1/2”,  in Blackberry Bliss ink and trim left edge at an angle

·         Using Vellum, die cut one of the largest circles (3”) from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

·         Using Pretty Peacock Cardstock, die cut the decorative border using Lily Pad Dies. (if desired, add Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to die cut image for added sparkle.)

·         Using Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, die cut one lily using Lily Pad Dies

·         Adhere the Lily Impressions DSP to the embossed Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer using glue (or SNAIL).

·         Adhere the vellum stitched circle to the Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer using a small amount of glue (or SNAIL) to the center of the circle 

·         Adhere the Pretty Peacock decorative border image to the Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer using a thin line of glue down the center strip of the die. Snip off the excess die cut on either side of the Coastal Cabana Cardstock.

·         Adhere the Coastal Cabana Cardstock layer to the Whisper White Cardstock using glue (or SNAIL).

·         Adhere the Whisper White Cardstock Layer to the Melon Mambo card base using glue (or SNAIL).

·         Adhere the Blackberry Bliss lily, Melon Mambo lily, Old Olive lily Pad and Whisper White sentiment to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

·         Using Whisper White Baker’s Twine, tie a bow and adhere to lily using a Mini Glue Dot

·         Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to card front

·         Card Complete!
