I Love Our Life Together!

Hello everyone! This morning my kids said..."we're half way through our week" and it really made me think! I've been a stay at home mom for 27 years so I'm home all the time.  I have had a couple part time jobs when all the kids were in school...but now I focus on my Stampin' Up! business!  In reality...I'm home all the time.  My time is my own...I get to decide what I do and when, unlike my kids who are in 8th and 11th grade, unlike my husband (and adult kids) who are working full time jobs.  I realized that I have a different perspective about the week and weekends than they do! I look at the weekends differently than them.  I look forward to the weekends because everyone is home and there is activity...they look forward to the weekend because its down time...there are no schedules.  All this to say HAPPY HUMP DAY...you are half way through your week!

Hey...I have a pretty Valentine card (or anniversary card...just to say I LOVE you card) to share with you this morning!

This beautiful card is created with the Meant to Be Bundle which consists of the Meant to Be stamp set and the AWESOME Be Mine framelit dies. The card base is a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The first mat is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Gray Granite cardstock.  I LOVE Gray Granite!!  Next, I used the second from the largest Stitched Rectangle framelit to cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then cut the hearts out using the Be Mine Framelits. I cut the hearts out, then glued them back in to the opening using Multipurpose glue in "strategic" places.   The White lacy heart is cut using the same framelits as it the All My Love designer paper heart.  It is attached to the card base with dimensionals.  I used two strands of Linen Thread to tie a bow around the lacy heart which is glued to the designer paper heart.  I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite ink and added a few pearls for a bit of elegance!  I LOVE how it turned out!!  I hope you'll give it a try!  If you need supplies please go to my store by clicking on SHOP NOW above!  I'd love to be your demonstrator!

That's it for today!  Have a WONDERFUL day!  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!!! Remember...you're half way done with your week!!
