I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love ALL THINGS paper crafting. I also have a scrapbooking retreat business called Scrap Happens Retreats. I love teaching and learning new techniques, sharing ideas, hosting my retreats, being a wife and a mom. Hiking, bicycling, gardening and cooking are a few of my other hobbies. "Make-It Monday" Broadway Birthday

Hey there!  How's your Monday starting out? Hope your had a great weekend!  I'm heading down the mountain this morning to have my car worked on! Hoping the snow holds off so I can make it home!

"Make-It Monday" Broadway Make a Wish Card

Supplies:
·         Stamp SetsBroadway Birthday (photopolymer-147067)
·         Card Stock – Lovely Lipstick (146970); Basic Black (121045); Whisper White (100730)
·         Stamp Pads – Tuxedo Black Memento (132708); Lovely Lipstick (147140); Pineapple Punch (147141)
·         Misc. – Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper (DSP)  (146277); Black Satin 1/2” Ribbon (146280); Broadway Lights Framelits Dies (146317); Gold Foil Sheets (132622); Big Shot (143263); Mini Dimensionals (144108); Gold Mini Sequin Trim (144128)
           
Measurements: 
·         Lovely Lipstick Card Stock:            11” x 4-1/4”    scored at 5-1/2” for card base
·         Basic Black Card Stock:                3-3/4” x 3-3/4”
·         Whisper White Card Stock:            3-1/2” x 3/4” banner and 4” x 5-1/4” for inside of card         and scrap for candle
·         Broadway Bound DSP:                  3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
·         Gold Foil sheet:                             2” x 4”
·         Black Satin Ribbon:                      14”
·         Gold Mini Sequin Trim:                 4"         
           
Instructions:
1.    Use the Big Shot to cut out the diamond border on one end of the Lovely Lipstick card.
2.    Layer the DSP on the black panel and adhere to front top of card.
3.    On a scrap of white card stock, stamp a candle in Lovely Lipstick and a flame in Pineapple Punch AND on the upper left corner of large white card stock panel. Stamp “You’re Never Too Old…” on white banner in black.
4.    Cut out stamped candle, flame with framelits as well as “Wish” from gold foil sheet.
5.    Adhere candle and flame over the “i” of WISH and attach word to DSP on top of card using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6.    Attach “You’re Never Too Old” banner above the WISH.
7.    Tie black satin ribbon in the space between DSP layer and diamond window border. Slide Sequin Trim into the knot before pulling tight.
8.    Adhere white card stock panel inside card.
