#simplestamping Sunday - Happy Birthday

Hello everyone!  Blessings to you all this Sunday Morning!  I'm off to church in just a little while, but before I go I wanted to share today's #simplestamping projects!

For the month of February Stampin' Up! has challenged demonstrators to create BIRTHDAY cards with the #simplestamping technique! They also said we could use designer paper if we wanted to!  Today I have two cards that I created for this challenge!  

This card is create with the Bloom By Bloom stamp set! There is a strip of dots (two rows) that I simply stamped over and over in Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Suede.  I turned the stamp with each color so the dots would be different. If you look closely...you'll notice that there are three large dots then three little dots, then two large dots then a bunch of little dots...just a way to change it up and make it flow nicer!!

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink.

For this card I wanted to use designer paper and I chose the Share What You Love dsp! Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?  The floral side of the dsp is cut to 3 1/4" X 4".  I also cut a 1/2" X 3 1/4" piece of the same paper, turned it over and adhered the striped side to the bottom of the floral dsp.  The sentiment is again, from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and is stamped in Mint Macaron ink.  I LOVE this card so much! I think I'm gonna change the sentiment and make it my customer thank you card for this month!
