Scrappin' Saturday - Just Like Dad

Hey there everyone!  How's your weekend going? I hope well and I hope you're finding a bit of time to create! Mine has been a bit uneventful...thankfully! I've had a hard time getting going today, I think because I haven't seen my husband except to say goodnight and good morning...as he grabs a few hours of sleep before going back out to get the power on! I'm a bit discombobulated! I LOVE THAT WORD!!!

Some of us line wives took dinner to the office so when the guys came back in for supplies and fuel...they could refuel! My husband was so grateful to have a home cooked meal! After that, I finally got out to my shop to work on my scrapbook page today! I came up with a two page layout! I hope they get your creative juices flowing!!

Here's the TWO PAGE layout! Isn't it FUN? It's son approved! SUPER CUTE...if I say so myself!
For this layout I used Stampin' Up! Best Route designer paper.  I cut two pieces 8 3/4" X 12" and I was left with two pieces that were 3 1/4" X 12.  I used Tear & Tape to attach them together and added Whisper White Flax Ribbon and Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon with that same Tear & Tape. I stamped the words using the Lined Alphabet stamps for JUST & LIKE and colored them in with Stampin' Blend Markers.  DAD is cut with the Large Letter framelits and I used the Stitched Retangle framelits for all of the words and frames!
All of the photos are matted onto Whisper White cardstock and adhered with dimensionals. I used one more Stitched Rectangle to write a fun "father" quote on and adhered it with dimensionals. Last, I added some Best Route Best Route Enamel Shapes to each corner to bring it all together! It felt great to scrapbook today! I'm happy to get out to my workshop even for just an hour! Creating RELAXES me!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by today!  Tomorrow is #simplestamping Sunday I hope you'll join me again!

Before I go, I wanted to share my snow photos with you! It's all melted and gone now, but the power is still off for many!  I'm grateful we get to enjoy it for a while but it doesn't stay for weeks on end!  It sure is BEAUTIFUL!!

ENJOY the rest of your weekend! Have FUN...stay SAFE...and find a moment to CREATE!!!
