"Make-It Monday" - Sailing Home

Hello Everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful and SAFE weekend.  Did you find any time to create?  I didn't!  Some of my kids were here and it was wonderful!  This week is going to be BUSY...I have a couple of tutorials to create and type, I have customer thank you gifts to get out and I have my downline gifts to get out.  I've got to get crackin'...but FIRST, I have a "Make-It Monday" to share with you today!  ENJOY...it's so peaceful!

"Make-It Monday" - Sailing Home

Supplies:

·         Stamp Sets: Sailing Home (149457)

·         Cardstock: Whisper White (100730), Night Of Navy (100867), Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)

·         Ink: Night Of Navy (147110), Daffodil Delight (147094), Coastal Cabana (147097), Gray Granite (147118), Versamark Pad (102283)

·         Stampin’ Blends: Soft Suede Dark (146875)

·         Tools & Accessories: White Stampin' Emboss Powder (109132), Heat Tool (129053),

·         Sail Away Trinkets (149482), Night Of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine (149483)

           

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼

·         Cardstock #2: Night of Navy 5¼ x 4

·         Cardstock #3: Watercolor paper 5 x 3¾

           

Instructions:

• Stamp the Light House on to the watercolor paper using VersaMark ink. 
• Heat emboss with white embossing powder. 
• Using aqua painter filed with water, watercolor the scenery. Colors are Sky in Balmy Blue, Night Of Navy. Sunset Daffodil Delight. Water Coastal Cabana and reflection of the sunset Daffodil Delight. Bottom Gray Granite. Light House Night of Navy. 
• Let dry 
• Color the anchor with the dark Soft Sued Stampin’ Blends (this is to get the bronze color) 
• Wrap the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand backer twine at the top 3 times, secure in the back. 
• Using another piece of twine tie all 3 twines together. Slide the trinket in one of the hanging threads and tie securely.  
• Adhere to Night of Navy cardstock then on to the card base. 
• Inside stamp the greeting using Night of Navy ink and the anchor with Gray Granite.

"Make-It Monday" Painted Poppies & Positive Thoughts

Painted Poppies

Supplies:

·         Card Stock – Thick Whisper White (140272)

·         Stamp Pads – Memento Black Ink (132708)

·         Misc. –Highland Heather Blends Duo (147276); Granny Apple green Blends Duo; Daffodil Delight Blends Duo (144603; (147274); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430);

Post-it Notes

Measurements:  

·         Thick Whisper White:          4 ¼” x 11”                   3” x 2 1/4”

·         Thick Whisper White:          3 ¾” x 5”

·         Scrap of white for sentiment

    

Instructions:

1.    Stamp the large flower onto a post-it notes and cut out just inside the line

2.    Stamp the medium flower onto post it note and also cut out just inside the line (make sure to stamp where there is some sticky for Masking.

3.    Start with the Center flower image and stamp onto your white 3 ¾” x 5 mat. Put the mask on that you have cut out and stamp flower around it as shown.

4.    When you get to the two flowers near the right bottom that has a smaller flower you will use both masks that you have cut out to give the effect of the smallest flower being behind it.

5.    Make sure to mask flowers when adding your leaves as well.

6.    Good rule of thumb is if you are stamping near the mask to cover it so there are no mistakes.

7.    Stamp sentiment onto the white scrap and cut out with your paper snips.

8.    Color the flowers using the Highland Heather Blends Duo.

9.    Color Leaves using the Granny Apple Green Blends Duo

10. When finished pop the mat up on the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Measurement:

·         Purple Posy:  5 ½” x 8 1/2”, scored at 4 ¼”,  

·         Whisper White Thick: 4” x 5 ¼” – cut two

·         Highland Heather: 3” x  2”

·         Soft Sea Foam:4” x 3”

·         Purple Posy DSP: 2” x 4”

Instructions:

1.    Use the large rectangular die to cut the white panel for card front.

2.    Use the feather die with Highland Heather cardstock to cut a feather.

3.    Stamp the “fern” image with Soft Sea Foam ink onto Soft Sea Foam cardstock and cut out shape with coordinating die.

4.    Stamp the butterfly and words with Gorgeous Grape ink onto white panel.

5.    Use Snail Adhesive to adhere the Purple Posy DSP to the left side of the card front.

6.    Attach die cut white panel to card front with dimensionals.

7.    Use Snail Adhesive just on the bottom of feather, positioning as shown in photo.

8.    Use dimensionals to adhere the fern.

9.    Adhere the 4” x5 ¼” panel to inside of card – stamp a greeting or image as desired.

10.  Tie a small strip of ribbon into a knot and attach with glue dot.

11.  To finish the card, add three Noble Peacock Rhinestones to card front.

It's a Piece of Cake

Hello everyone!  I hope your Friday has been FANTASTIC!  Are you ready for the weekend?  Mine has been so busy AND my oldest son, Trevor, came up for a visit! I LOVE it when I get to see my kids!!!

Today I have a BEAUTIFUL wedding card to share with you!  I would also make a lovely anniversary card or even a birthday card!  

The card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock!  The first layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock that is embossed with the GORGEOUS Country Floral embossing folder.  Next, I attached a Pearlized Doily with dimensionals.  I used the Piece of Cake stamp set for the cake image.  It is stamped with Gray Granite ink and colored with Dark Petal Pink and Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend Markers on a Stitched Circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits.  Last, the sentiment is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed with White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock then punched out with the Classic Label punch.  I added some Pearl Basics and some White Bakers Twine to finish it off!
