Snow Front - FALL SCENE

Hello everyone!  Were you able to follow along on the Blog Hop last night?  It was a GREAT hop with lots of TERRIFIC ideas and inspiration!  I had a class last night so I've been prepping all day today for my World Card Making Day event this Saturday!  I have everything cut and ready to go...now to decide on my menu!

First...I want to share some more inspiration with you!  !

I LOVE the Snow Front stamp set...you already know this!  I used it for class again this month but instead of a mountain scene I created a fall scene.  The 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base is Mint Macaron.  The stamped images is a 3" X 3" piece of Whisper White cardstock and is layered onto a 3 1/8" X 3 1/8" piece of Soft Suede cardstock. I tied a piece of Linen Thread into a bow around both pieces of cardstock and attached it to the card base with dimensionals!

I rolled the sky with a sponge brayer and Mint Macaron ink.  The ground is brayerd wtih Pear Pizzazz ink.  The images are stamped with Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Merry Merlot and Mango Melody inks.  The sentiment is from the Painted Harvest stamp set and is stamped in Soft Suede ink.  I LOVE how this card turned out!  I can almost feel the leaves falling!  Fall is my FAVORITE season...the colors are so beautiful and this card catches that beauty!

If you need any of these supplies and you don't have a demonstrator already or are a current customer, please go to my store by clicking on SHOP NOW at the top right of this blog! Have FUN shopping!

"Make-It Monday" Snow Front

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a TERRIFIC weekend!  Did you get any snow, stormy weather?  Are you ready for winter because I think it's here...or just around the corner!!!  I enjoyed my daughter's volleyball game in Alturas, California on Saturday.  It's close to a four hour drive from our home but it is a GORGEOUS drive!  I also enjoyed spending time with two of my adult sons!  I LOVE that my kids LOVE to come home!  I'll be seeing them (BRIEFLY) this Friday, as my three oldest sons and my husband are going hunting...to a place called Adam's lake, in our Trinity Alps.  It's a beautiful lake and will make a wonderful base camp.  I'm sure there will be some tears shed over our youngest son and their brother, Adam while they are there, but I'm praying it will be healing too!

Welcome to this weeks "Make-It Monday"! As you know from Friday's post...this is my FAVORITE stamp set in the Holiday Catalog!  I hope you are inspired by this simple and pretty card!

Snow Front...my FAVORITE Holiday Catalog Stamp Set

Hello everyone!  HAPPY FRIDAY!!! What are your plans for the weekend?  Are you expecting stormy weather?  Will you have any time to CREATE?  At any rate, I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend.  I'm heading to Modoc, which is almost four hours away for Kate's volleyball game tomorrow!  Thankfully it isn't until noon so we don't have to leave super early!  She's also riding her horse at the JV and Varsity football games tonight.  A group of girls are carrying the flags during the Star Spangled Banner!  I'm SUPER EXCITED for her!

Today I want to share my FAVORITE stamp set in the Holiday Catalog with you!  I just LOVE it!  It's called Snow Front and it partners great with the Waterfront stamp set.  For this card, I only used the Snow Front set though!  I hope you love it like I do!

The card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the first Whisper White layer measuring 4 1/8" X 5 3/8".  The Pretty Peacock layer is 4" X 5 1/4" and is embossed with the Hammered Metal embossing folder.  The image is stamped onto a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits.  I rolled the sky with the Sponge Brayers using Coastal Cabana ink with a bit of Wink of Stella to make it glisten!  The dirt is brayed also, with Crumb Cake in then I used the stamp set for the details also with Crumb Cake ink.  The trees are stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.  Below the trees is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink!  Before attaching the stamped image with dimensionals, I added some Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon.  I LOVE this card!

Hey...that's it for today!  Have a FANTASTIC weekend!  I hope you get to do something FUN!!

THANKS BUNCHES FOR STOPPING BY!!
