Perennial Birthday meets Thoughtful Blooms and the Small Bloom Punch!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all well!  Here were are...half way through our week already!  My brother had a knee replacement surgery on Monday and I brought him home from the hospital yesterday.  It was an all day event so I didn't get to share my Tuesday's Tip Video...but I'll be back next week!

Today I want to share the card my made my daughter, Kate, for her 15th birthday! She LOVES orange so I had to use Pumpkin Pie with a little Mango Melody!  She LOVED it and so do I!

My card base is Whisper White and I embossed a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.  I LOVE the new Stitched So Lovely dies and used them to cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie and a smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock. I attached both layers with dimensionals but first I stamped the Perennial Birthday floral image using my Mango Melody and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.  The flowers are stamped with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set.  I used Mango Melody ink on the same color cardstock and Pumpkin Pie ink on the same color of cardstock and punched them both out with the Small Bloom Punch. I finished the card by adding several Basic Pearls!

I hope you love it..but more importantly I hope you're INSPIRED to create today!  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!  Have a wonderful rest of your day!

Tuesday's Tip - Stamparatus FUN...Background Stamping

Hello everyone!  I just finished watching a movie with my daughter...Second Chances, a barrel racing movie! It's kind of cheesy but a great message of forgiveness and second chances...for people, for horses, for relationships!  I LOVE that she still likes to hang out with dear old mom!

It's time for Tuesday's Tip...I hope you'll be inspired!

So here's the card that I created!  The Whisper White card base is 5 1/2" X 8" and the front is embossed with the Scattered Sequins embossing folder.  I stamped on a 3 1/2" X 4 1/4 inch piece of Whisper White cardstock using Pacific Point and Mango Melody inks.  After stamping, I matted the image onto a 3 5/8" X 4 3/8" piece of Pacific Point cardstock. The ribbon is Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon and the balloons are stamped with the Balloon Celebration stamp set an punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch.  The image and the balloons are all attached with dimensionals. I almost forgot to mention that I also embossed the small balloon with the Scattered Sequins embossing folder!  Super simple card to create...especially with your stamparatus!

Hey...thanks BUNCHES for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed Tuesday's Tip and are INSPIRED to create!  Have a FANTASTIC evening and a Happy Independence Day!

Last Minute Graduation and Father's Day INSPIRATION!

Hello everyone!  WOW...it's been a busy morning!  My daughter, Kate, has a cupcake business and she was asked to make 15 dozen cupcakes for Sober Grad tonight!  She made a total of 20 dozen cupcakes this week...one for the coffee shop, two for a work party, two for 8th grade graduation and then the fifteen for Sober Grad!  I'm so proud of her!  Not bad for a 13 year old...she is amazing!

No automatic alt text available.

Everything has now been delivered and I have a three simple cards to share with you! Two GRADUATION cards and one Father's Day card...just in case you have some last minute creating to do!

I love the Scattered Sequins embossing folder...that's the background on the Basic Black and Silver Foil cardstock.  Makes it FUN and FESTIVE!

More of the Scattered Sequins embossing folder along with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  I used the Silver Foil Paper as a background and for the word...and OF COURSE...added a bit of bling!
Remember that Masculine Birthday Card I made a while back?  It was April 11th...you'll find all the measurements there! I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set to stamp Father's Day and Perennial Birthday stamp set for Happy!

Well..that's it for today!  Have a FANTASTIC weekend!  I know it's a SUPER BUSY time of year but TRY to find some time to CREATE!!

Share What You Love - TWIST...from Masculine to Feminine

Good Morning Everyone!  It's a BEAUTIFUL day!  I started with spin class and I'm going to the coast today to celebrate my birthday!  There's a really good restaurant, Moonstone, in Trinidad that I've been wanting to try and my husband made reservations!  We're leaving soon, Adam and Kate are going with us and we're meeting my son Seth (who lives over there)!  I can't wait.  First we're gonna go say hi to the bulldogs and take them to Moonstone Beach...then dinner!  YAY!!!

Today's card is yesterdays card with the designer paper turned over.  It went from a masculine to feminine with just a turn!

Here's what I did!

The card base is Early Espresso with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Crumb cake and a 3 1/4" X 5" piece of Share What You Love designer paper.  I turned yesterday's designer paper over to find this BEAUTIFUL feminine side. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PAPER!!  I used my Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut Early Espresso and Crumb Cake squares. The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  It is stamped with Berry Burst ink onto a 3 1/2" X 1 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock.   I inked the edges with a dauber and Early Espresso ink.  Last, I added a Berry Burst bow with some Linen Thread as well to replace the button from yesterday's card.

Well..that's it!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC day....and take just a moment to CREATE!!
