Tuesday's Tip - Textured Flowers

Hello everyone!  Here it is...Tuesday again and I have another Tuesday's tip to share with you!

I'm heading out to go rafting on the Trinity River with two of my daughters (one is a guide) and my son's girlfriend!  Can you say GIRLS DAY!  It's a bit nippy here this morning...I'm hoping we don't get in the water (meaning we fall out of the raft) until it warms up!  I hope you get to do something FUN today too!

~Today's Thought~

Perennial Birthday meets Thoughtful Blooms and the Small Bloom Punch!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all well!  Here were are...half way through our week already!  My brother had a knee replacement surgery on Monday and I brought him home from the hospital yesterday.  It was an all day event so I didn't get to share my Tuesday's Tip Video...but I'll be back next week! 

Today I want to share the card my made my daughter, Kate, for her 15th birthday! She LOVES orange so I had to use Pumpkin Pie with a little Mango Melody!  She LOVED it and so do I!

My card base is Whisper White and I embossed a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.  I LOVE the new Stitched So Lovely dies and used them to cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie and a smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock. I attached both layers with dimensionals but first I stamped the Perennial Birthday floral image using my Mango Melody and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.  The flowers are stamped with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set.  I used Mango Melody ink on the same color cardstock and Pumpkin Pie ink on the same color of cardstock and punched them both out with the Small Bloom Punch. I finished the card by adding several Basic Pearls!
