Amazing Life Masculine Birthday Card

Hello there! Happy Thursday!  Hope you're having a wonderful day!  I'd like to share a masculine card that we are making in my monthly classes in May!  I LOVE the Wood Textures designer paper and I'm so sad it's leaving!  

So,  I rarely use Very Vanilla cardstock.  WHY?  I do not know!  I'm going to start using it more often!  

My card base is a 5 1/2" X 11"piece of Very Vanilla cardstock scored at 4 1/4".  My first layer is Basic Black and measures 4" X 5 1/4". Next is a 3 1/4" X 5" piece of that awesome (and retiring) Wood Textures designer paper!  I cut the rectangle with my Rectangle Stitched Framelits and used the Amazing Life stamp set for the sentiment!  It is stamped in Memento Black ink.  I added a Metallic Brad and some Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon to finish it off!  Inside the card is a 4" X 5 1/4" layer of Basic Black cardstock with a 3 3/4" X 5" layer of Very Vanilla cardstock where I stamped HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'm really enjoying including masculine cards in my classes.  It's a challenge, but I feel so accomplished when I through! lol

Rooted In Nature - Masculine Birthday

Hi everyone!  YIKES!!! I'm getting ready to head down the mountain to go to Woodland to spend the night with my son so I can leave BRIGHT & EARLY in the morning for OnStage in Charolette, North Carolina!  I am beyond EXCITED!!

Real quick, before I start my adventure, I want to share one more card that we are making in my April classes!

This FABULOUS masculine card is created with the Rooted In Nature stamp set!  My card base is Whisper White. My first layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  Next I attached two pieces of Wood Textures designer paper.  The lighter one is 3 1/2" X 3 3/4" and the darker one is 1 1/2" X 3 3/4".  I stamped the tree image from the Rooted In Nature stamp set twice (off setting them) in Memento Black Ink.  I also stamped the same image onto a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock and cut it out with the Natures Roots framelits.  After attaching some Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon, tying in into a knot and adding a Linen Thread bow, I attached the cut out tree with Mini Dimensionals.  Last I added a Happy Birthday sentiment!  Isn't it a GREAT masculine card?!?!

"Make-It Monday" Let It Ride

Good Morning everyone! It's Monday...first day back to school after a week off for my kids. My son passed his driving test and got his license last week so he'll be driving to school today! Life sure changes fast! I don't even have to get dressed in the morning now...LOL!!

I have a FUN "Make-It Monday" to share with you today! Hope you LOVE it!

"Make-It Monday":  LET IT RIDE card created with Stampin' Up! products All images © 1990-2019 Stampin’ Up!®  Supplies: Stamp Sets – Let It Ride (148765) Card Stock – Early Espresso (119686); Very Vanilla (101650); Wood Textures Designer Series Paper or "DSP" (144177) Stamp Pads – Early Espresso (147114); Pacific Point (147098); Tranquil Tide (147146) Miscellaneous – Crumb Cake Blender Pens (144601); Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372); Layering Square Framelits (141708); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (103633); Linen Thread (104199); 3/16” Braided Linen Thread (147808)        Measurements:   Early Espresso:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 ¼”  5 ¼” x 6” scored at 2” and 4” Very Vanilla:  5 ¼” x 4”, 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” and 4” x 2 ½” scrap Wood Designer Series Paper:  3 7/8” x 5 1/8”                              Linen Thread: three pieces 9” each  Braided Linen Thread : 2” piece                                       Instructions: Score 5 ½ x 8 ½” Early Espresso piece at 4 ¼” (folded in half). On 2 ½” x 4” Very Vanilla piece stamp horse in Early Espresso. Color horse with Crumb Cake Blender pens and fussy cut. Stamp saying in Early Espresso then cut out with stitched oval framelit. Adhere horse to sponged Very Vanilla piece with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then glue Very Vanilla to DSP square piece. Knot the 3 strands of Linen Thread. Braid and then knot other end.  Roll in circle and tie with braided linen thread. Glue scored piece of Early Espresso to inside of card with mountain fold. Line up square piece with horse on it in square hole on front of card and glue to folded piece on inside of card. Stamp inside saying on 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla and glue to inside Early Espresso folded piece. Adhere stitched oval to front of card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Tailored Tag Punch, Wood Textured DSP Masculine Birthday Card!

Good Morning everyone!  It's a NIPPY 40 degrees here this morning and I'm LOVING it!  Fall is in the air...YAY!!!  I just love this time of year! Although the fires are still going our skies are blue.  Sadly, this is not the case for my friends down the mountain!  I'm praying for rain AND for all those in for path of Hurricane Florence...STAY SAFE and BE WISE everyone!!!

Today's creation is a simple, masculine birthday card!  You could use it for any occasion though and with any colors!  I hope you'll give it a try!

My card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  My first mat is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next, I used a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Basic Black cardstock to mount my designer paper cut outs which are punched with the Tailored Tag punch.  I chose two contrasting Wood textured paper and punched 6-9 pieces in each color.  I adhered them to the Basic Black cardstock with a bit of the black showing in between and pieces overlapping the sides of the cardstock.  When I finished adhering the Wood Textured punched pieces, I trimmed them with my Stampin' Trimmer to be even with the 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I punched one additional piece in the white washed piece of the Wood Textured dsp to stamp my sentiment on!  My Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Best Birds stamp set and fits perfectly!  It is attached with dimensionals!  Last I added a piece of Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon and an embellishment from the Leaves Trinkets.  Isn't it a FUN masculine card! 

I think this would make a FUN video...maybe a girly one!  Be on the look out for it!

Beautiful Day

Good Morning everyone!  It's a BUSY Friday for me!  How's yours looking so far?  I hope you have a bit of time to create today!  I did this morning!  It's Facebook Hop time again so I had to make my card for that!  Go to my Facebook page at 5:00pm PST to see what I made...and follow along on to see some other FABULOUS creations!

For now I want to share some CUTE 3" X 3" cards that I made last night! 

Aren't these FUN?  I used the flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set, stamped the image in Memento Black ink onto the lightest peace of Wood Textures designer paper.  I colored the flower with Light Pool Party, Light Poppy Parade, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Call M Clover, Dark Daffodil Delight and Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend Markers!  SUPER FUN and quick! This is a great project to do while watching a San Francisco Giants game on TV with the family!!!  I adhered the stamped image to a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and then to the 3" X 3" card.  I LOVE THEM!!!  I hope you'll give them a try!

LOVE You to Pieces - Masculine Card

Hello everyone!  I'm heading down the mountain this morning to have my class in Redding!  It's the first time I've driven all the wall down since the Carr Fire started on July 23rd!  I'm so excited to see my ladies, to spend time with them and even grab a hug!  I'm so happy that they are all safe!  I am, however, dreading the drive...I don't want to see all the devastation that the fire caused.  I'm sure tears will be flowing as I drive...slowly, behind the pilot card.

Real quick I want to share a card that we'll be making in today's class!  

The Basic Black card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".  The first mat is Whisper White and measures 4 1/8" X 5 3/8".  Next is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that is embossed with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder.  I used the Puzzle Pieces framelits to cut the puzzle pieces from Wood Texture DSP.  The sentiment is stamped onto a Stitched Shapes Circle in Memento Black ink.  It is from the Love You to Pieces stamp set.  The sentiment and the puzzle pieces are attached with dimensional and one of the puzzle pieces has a piece of Natures Twine tied in a knot around it.  The twine has been separated with a Piercing Tool.  Isn't this a FUN card...and a GREAT masculine card!  Simply change the sentiment for ANY OCCASION!
