Father's Day Card....#GDP142

Hello everyone!  Happy Father's Day! I hope you are enjoying your day!! I know it's Sunday and I don't  usually blog on the weekends, but I wanted to share the Father's Day card that I made for my husband!  He's a great dad and loves our children so much...I am blessed and oh so grateful!

Here's the sketch...

...and here is my creation!  My card base is Early Espresso with a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" Whisper White mat.  The 4" X 5 1/4" Crumb Cake cardstock is embossed with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder! I mounted the weaved Wood Textures dsp onto a Early Espresso circle which is cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Happy is cut with the Happy Birthday Thinlit from Wood Textures dsp. I stamped the trees using the Rooted In Nature stamp set onto Watercolor paper.The colors I chose are Balmy Blue, Tranquil Tide, Old Olive and Garden Green.  I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set to stamp the Father's Day sentiment and punched it out with the Classic Label punch.  I tied Linen Thread into a triple bow to the end of the sentiment. Next I added a Metalic Brad to a Corrugated Heart from the Corrugated Elements embellisments and attached it over the Linen Thread with Mini Dimensionals!  I LOVE it...and so did my husband!

Last Minute Graduation and Father's Day INSPIRATION!

Hello everyone!  WOW...it's been a busy morning!  My daughter, Kate, has a cupcake business and she was asked to make 15 dozen cupcakes for Sober Grad tonight!  She made a total of 20 dozen cupcakes this week...one for the coffee shop, two for a work party, two for 8th grade graduation and then the fifteen for Sober Grad!  I'm so proud of her!  Not bad for a 13 year old...she is amazing!

Everything has now been delivered and I have a three simple cards to share with you! Two GRADUATION cards and one Father's Day card...just in case you have some last minute creating to do!

I love the Scattered Sequins embossing folder...that's the background on the Basic Black and Silver Foil cardstock.  Makes it FUN and FESTIVE!

More of the Scattered Sequins embossing folder along with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  I used the Silver Foil Paper as a background and for the word...and OF COURSE...added a bit of bling!

Remember that Masculine Birthday Card I made a while back?  It was April 11th...you'll find all the measurements there! I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set to stamp Father's Day and Perennial Birthday stamp set for Happy!
