Scrappin’ Saturday - Well Written LOVE & Come Sail Away

Hello everyone! It’s Scrappin’ Saturday and I created a beautiful page to share with you today!

The base is a 12x12 piece of Basic Black cardstock with s 11 1/2” x 11 1/2” piece of Gray Granite cardstock on top.  The 11” x 11” Whisper White piece is stamped with the Artisan Textures stamp set by stamping off Gray Granite ink.  I embossed a 6” x 6” piece of Basic Black cardstock with the Corrugated embossing folder.  The stitched squares are cut from the Come Sail Away designer paper pack.  I added a stitched shaped circle cut from Gray Granite cardstock, along with a 3 1/2” x 11” strip also in Gray Granite and embossed with VersaMark and the Brick and Mortar embossing folder! The stems and the word love are cut from the Well Written dies!  I love how it turned out!  It’s a nice remembrance of my son!

ICS Blog Hop It’s a Spring Thing!!!

Hello everyone and WELCOME to the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop!  I hope that you'll follow along and be INSPIRED to CREATE!  Our theme this month is "Think Spring". 

I chose to create a wedding card using the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Paper.  This paper is GORGEOUS! My card base is a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock. My first layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I added a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Vellum Floral Romance paper with snail adhesive in the corners to the Whisper White layer. I embossed a 1 1/2" X 4" piece of Petal Pink cardstock with the Corrugated embossing folder and adhered it to the designer paper with dimensionals. I tied a Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle bow  around all three layers before adding it to my card base, also with dimensionals.  The sentiment is from the Piece of Cake stamp set.  It is stamped with Gray Granite ink and punched with the 1" Circle Punch.  I used my Paper Piercing Tool to poke two holes at the top of the circle and separated two threads of the Whisper White Flax Ribbon to tie a bow through the holes.  The sentiment is attached with one dimensional.  I just LOVE how it turned out and hope it INSPIRES you!

Scrappin' Saturday

Hello everyone!  Here it is, Saturday, and I have another scrapbook page to share with you!  I'm so excited to be getting some scrapbooking time!  I hope it inspires you to get your photos out and get a page or two completed!!!

The 12" X 12" background paper is from the Festive Farmhouse designer paper.  I really love the wood grain!  There's a strip of stars on there that is from the same paper pack.  I also used Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Gray Ganite and Whisper White cardstock.  I embossed the strips and the half circle with the Corrugated, Softly Falling, Swirls & Curls and Subtle embossing folders!  I LOVE the different textures!

The ornament is from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies using Sparkle Glimmer paper.  I tied bows with Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon, Real Red Cotton Ribbon and Silver Baker's Twine.  The Noel sentiment is stamped with the Peaceful Noel stamp set, in Real Red ink onto a Whisper White stitched square that I cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I added a few pearls to finish it off!  I LOVE it!!!!

Masculine Cards...Simple and Festive

Hey there everyone!  I hope you're having a FANTASTIC day!  I'm watching it rain...listening to music from back in the day and blogging!  What could be better?  I had a great class yesterday down in Redding!  Such a great group of friends!  Here are two of the cards that we made, both make great masculine cards and come together quickly! 

The Whisper White card base measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".  The Basic Black layer is 4 1/8" X 5 1/8" and is embossed with the Corrugated Embossing Folder!  Use the Touches of Texture stamp set to stamp on the Stitched Circle with Slate Gray ink.  Cut another circle from Basic Black cardstock, emboss it with the Subtle embossing folder and attach it to the stamped circle.  The sentiment is cut with the Happy Birthday Thinlit from Galvanized Metallic paper and attached with multi-purpose glue.  Last I added a couple of Clear Epoxy Droplets.

This second card uses a Gold Foil Edge card base (with matching gold foil edged envelope).  Cut a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Merry Merlot cardstock for your first layer. Next, use the Winter Woods stamp set and Granite Gray ink to stamp the trees onto a 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock (or choose Shimmery White cardstock for some sparkle). Before attaching it to the card base tie a bow with the Merry Merlot & Copper reversible ribbon.   Simply BEAUTIFUL!!!

Celebrate You...

Good Morning everyone!  I have a class today, in Redding, but I want to share a card I created with one of the backgrounds I demonstrated on my Tuesday's Tip Video yesterday!  You may not have seen it yet as I was pretty late posting it...another crazy day at my place!  I'm a toilet and vanity away from having a bathroom for my shop!!!

This card is created with the Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green background I created on Watercolor paper on  yesterday's video!  I hope you'll check it out!  The card base is Soft Suede with a Whisper White mat.  I used the Corrugated Embossing Folder to add texture to a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock.  The sentiment, from the Beautiful You stamp set, is stamped in Memento Black ink on to a stitched circle, from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The flower and the YOU are cut from the watercolor background with the Celebrate You thinlits dies.  I added three Clear Epoxy Droplets for a bit of bling!

Here's a close up so you can see the detail of the watercolor background and one of the Clear Epoxy Droplets! They're really fun!

Tuesday’s Tip - Embossing Folders

Hello there and good Tuesday evening!  Super late getting my video posted today...I had to go down the mountain and run lots of errands!  I also was able to meet up with my brother for coffee!  I don't get to see enough of him!!
