Magnolia Lane HELLO!

Hello and HAPPY Friday!  I hope you've had a great week! I'm thick in the heart of camping...we're going to go for a hike today, up in the Trinity Alps to an Alpine Lake!  I LOVE WHERE I LIVE!!

Today'r project is another card that we created in my June classes.  The card base is Whisper White withe a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Magnolia Lane designer paper.  The magnolia flower is cut with the Magnolia Memories Dies.  I used my bone folder to gently curl the petals.  The sentiment is from Good Morning Magnolia Cling Stamp Set.  Hello is stamped onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock with VersaMark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Next it is cut out with the Timeless Punch.  The flower and the sentiment are attached with Dimensional and the flower has a Clear Faceted Gem in the middle!  

THIS PAPER IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

Picture Perfect Party

Good morning friends! Happy Thursday! Dang...this week has flown by! I spent the day in my workshop yesterday...had a class last night...enjoyed my time with friends, visiting and creating! I LOVE what I do! My next class is my Waterfront class...all cards made with the Waterfront stamp set, it's Saturday, April 14th.  I'm SUPER EXCITED about this class because this is such a VERSATILE set!  You're gonna be amazed at what you can do with this stamp set!  I've decided to do a video series of the cards we create in this class so STAY TUNED!

Today's card is one that we made in last nights class...I hope you'll give it a try!

This fun birthday card is simple and quick to make!  It has a Whisper White card base with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Berry Burst cardstock as it's first layer. The next layer is a 3 7/8" X 5 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock and on top of that is a 3 3/4" X 5" piece of Picture Perfect Party designer paper.  Before attaching the last three layers to my card base, I wrapped a piece of Berry Burst Metallic Edged ribbon and tied it in a bow.  I also used Linen Thread to tie a bow around the Berry Burst Bow.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Banners stamp set and is stamped in Tranquil Tide.  I hand cut the banner end and attached a Clear Faceted Gem to the other end.  Because the Picture Perfect Party designer paper is 6" X 6" there is a strip left over which I trimmed to fit inside of the card! I think it's a FUN and FESTIVE birthday card and is EASY to create!  I hope you'll give it a try!

You Move Me

Good Morning! I'm up early this morning because I have a class down in Redding and I have a SPECIAL treat for them....Kate Bake's Cupcakes!  Yep, Kate made Snickerdoodle cupcakes, S'mores cupcakes and Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcakes for me to take!  She's making the frosting as I type...what an AWESOME young lady I have! I'm playing hooky from spin class...but I wanted to be here in case she needed me...lol...she's totally got it handled, but it felt weird to go to do something fun while she was home working!

In honor of SPRINGTIME, here's a card that is made with the  Sweet Soiree designer paper!  The card base is Berry Burst with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of the designer paper on top. I used the You Move Me Bundle to cut the butterflies and for the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink onto a Whisper White circle cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I added Pearl Basic Jewels to the small butterfly and a Clear Faceted Gem to the large butterfly.  I LOVE this designer paper...it really can stand alone with just a sentiment, which makes for a really quick and beautiful card!
