Tuesday's Tip - Envelopes for slim line cards

Hello everyone!  I've been in my workshop all day...having FUN in my HAPPY PLACE!  I know you've all been seeing the trendy slim line cards!  Today, I want to show you how to create envelopes for those cards!

Here are the photos and measurements for the envelopes & the cards.

This card is a 4" x 9" card folded. 

(8" x 9" scored at 4")

Here are the measurements for the envelope:

9" x 11" piece of cardstock or designer paper

score it in the portrait position at 2 1/4"  and 6 1/2"

score it in the landscape position at 1 1/2" and 10 1/2"

This (not quite finished) card is a 3 3/4" x 9" card folded. 

(7 1/2" x 9" scored at 3 3/4")

Here are the measurements for the envelope:

8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock or designer paper

score it in the portrait position at 2 1/2"  and 6 1/2"

score it in the landscape position at 1 1/2" and 10 1/2"
