Paper Pumpkin Possibilities - Something for Everything

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Possibilities!  The December Paper Pumpkin kit is called Something for Everything and it is so pretty!  I hope you'll hop along with us for lots of FRESH ideas!!

My first alternative project is a candy tube.  I cut 1 1/2" from each side of a card base making a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square that I could use to make this simple tube.  It's so easy...you simply add a strip of Tear & Tape to one side and roll it into a tube, like a toilet paper roll.  Next add more Tear & Tape to one end to close it.  Fill it with candy, punch a couple of holes in the top and tie it together with ribbon.  I used Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding and Bulap Ribbon.  It's such a simple and bright project!
I also wanted to create an alternative card.  I have a son who lives in Phoenix and I need to send him a congratulations card.  I saw the stickers that come in the kit and immediately saw cactus's!  I attached them to a Stitched Rectangle with dimensionals after using my Sponge Brayer to color the sky Balmy Blue and createf the dessert sand with a scrap left over from the candy tube above.  The flowers are also stickers, but I attached them with dimensionals as well.  Last I stamped the sentiment onto another scrap from the tube in white embossing powder and heat embossed it with my heat gun.  Simple...but super cute and PERFECT for my Arizona kid!  I hope he likes it.  There's also some bling in the kit that would look cute on the flowers, but I don think my son would appreciate the bling...so I saved it for another project! LOL!!

Next up is Deb at The Flying Stamper!
