Good Morning everyone. Hoping you are all well and ready for your weekend. What I really hope is that you find some time to CREATE!
Today, I want to share one of the cards we're making in my January classes.
I LOVE the new Timeless Tulips stamp set and the Tulip Builder Punch is a wonderful addition. This card has a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Whisper White card base. The first layer is Old Olive and is 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped the tulip stems in Old Olive. The tulips I inked with Crushed Curry and used my Mango Melody Stampin' Write marker to brush the edges of the stamp for some extra detail! Last, I stamped a tulip onto Mango Melody cardstock and used the Tulip Punch Builder to punch it out and attached it with dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of Braided Burlap Trim around the stamped image and Old Olive layer before attaching it to the card base. I tied a sloppy bow with Linen Thread and used a glue dot to attach it to the burlap trim and last, I stamped the sentiment, punched it out with a circle punch and attached it over the trim with dimensional. The thing you have to remember when stamping is to not stamp your stem up your tulip...we giggled a lot about this in class!!
Hey...thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day...enjoy every minute of it!
