Somebody Loves You - Parcels & Petals

Good Morning everyone!  I hope you're all having a wonderful day! It's been a rough few days for me.  Tuesday was horrible...I just couldn't stop crying. I woke up this morning and realized that Tuesday was the four month anniversary of my son, Adam's death.  No day is easy, but with God's strength I get through them and find JOY in each day. I stay busy and STAY THANKFUL!

There have been so many kind things going on at the high school. The seniors have senior alley and buy parking spaces (that only they can park in) and personalize them with paint. They painted one for Adam and many of them added AW12 to their own spots. It's pretty cool.  Friday night was the first home football game and the cheerleaders made a sign that said WE LOVE YOU ADAM and formed their pom poms into an AW and there was a moment of silence for a fallen comrade.  It's so wonderful to see how much he was loved by his classmates!  My family has been very blessed by this love. Below are a few photos...first is Adam at the beginning of last years football season!  I LOVE this photo of him!

Now...ON TO CREATING!!!

For this simple card I used a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Whisper White card base with a lovely piece of Come Sail Away Designer paper measuring 4" x 5 1/4".  I used the Wild Rose Dies to cut the label for the sentiment which is from the Parcels & Petals stamp set.  The flowers, stamped in Gray Granite, are from the same set.

Here's something really cool that I wanted to share with you!  For the "bow" I used Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon.  I tied it in a know then cut the edge off of each side to FRAY it!  I LOVE the way it turned out!  Last, I added a few Clear Epoxy Droplets as flower centers!

Isn't it a great card?

Well...that's it for today!  THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!  Have a FANTASTIC rest of your day!
