Birthday Banners

Hello everyone! It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in Weaverville!  It rained ALL day and night yesterday and we woke up to a clean and refreshing day!

This is the view out my sliding door as I blog...isn't it BEAUTIFUL!

I have company on their way up for the weekend...dear friends who moved away last summer. As usual, I'm a bit behind schedule so I'm gonna do a quick post! I'm so excited to see them...they have a four year old and a six month old so I'll get my kid fix!  WAY better than organizing my workshop!!

I did get out there and CREATE last night and boy did it feel good! It's therapy for me...great STRESS relief!!! I needed a birthday card and I REALLY wanted to use the NEW In-Colors...so I did!

I LOVE...LOVE...LOVE the 2017-2019 In-Colors! For this card I used the Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst, along with Whisper White. The background paper is from the Color Theory Designer Paper Series...it's VERY COOL! I stamped the balloons with the Banner Birthdays stamp set and cut them out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch attaching them with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped using the same stamp set and the splatters are stamped using the Timeless Textures stamp set. I dry embossed the Lemon Lime Twist band with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  The tags were made using the Envelope Punch Board (for the rounded corners on the bottom) and the Scalloped Tag Topper punch for the top. I tied the bow at the top using the NEW 1/4" Copper Trim. I LOVE these colors together!!!

I stamped another balloon on the inside of my card along with some more splatter! Doesn't it make the card more FESTIVE and FUN?!?

My Stampin' Up! Facebook group is having a Sketch Challenge this week so I used this sketch to create my card!

I hope you've enjoyed my creation today!  Have a WONDERFUL weekend! Enjoy every minute of it! It you have graduates...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Sharing what I LOVE to do makes me HAPPY!

~Today's Though~
I promised to share...
First my daughter drew her unicorn onto a piece of cardboard, then cut it out, hot glued and taped it together and spray painted it!
Here's Kate with her homemade pinata!! The cloud made it and attached to the back of the unicorn, but I didn't get a good photo!
I'm so proud of her hard work and creativity!
