I have a FUN...FUN...FUN card & tutorial to share with you today!  I just know you will love it!

Seriously The Best

Supplies:
·         Stamp Set:  Seriously The Best (151712)
·         Cardstock: Bermuda Bay (131197), Calypso Coral (122925), Whisper White (100730),
Cajun Craze (119684)
·         DSP: Bird Ballad (149592)
·         Ink: Cajun Craze (147085), Bermuda Bay (147096), Old Olive (147090),                 Crushed Curry (147087), Pool Party (147107)
·         Misc.: Multipurpose liquid glue (110755), Stamparatus (146276), Paper Trimmer (152392)

Measurements:
·         Card Base: Bermuda Bay card  base 8-½”  x  4- ¼”; score and fold at 5-½”
·         Cardstock #2:  Calypso Coral 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
·         Cardstock #3:  Whisper White 4” x 5-¼”; thin scrap strip for sentiment ¼” x 3-1/8”
·         DSP: Bird Ballet strip 1” x 5-¼”
·         Cardstock:  2 thin strips of Bermuda Bay down the sides of the  DSP – trim to 5-¼ ”

Instructions:
·         Score and fold Bermuda Bay card base.
·         Using Stamparatus,  stamp “Thanks”  5 times using the 5 different shades of ink- moving  the clear plate of the Stamparatus down a notch each time for even spacing; TIP: line up the “Thanks”  stamp top right corner of Whisper White;  I did this on a piece of scrap cardstock to be sure the spacing is equal for the top and bottom “Thanks”  from the edge of the cardstock.
·         Stamp long sentiment on the small piece of Whisper White scrap.
·         Cut 5 strips Whisper White scrap ¼”  x 3-1/8” and glue all together – attach to back of the stamped sentiment strip.  I used this as a thick “pop-up” instead of dimensionals.

·         Attach to Calypso Coral layer then attach to Bermuda Bay card front.
·         Attach the long sentiment strip.

Thin Blue Line Card

Hello there!  How's your day going?  I'm gonna be busy taking photos of retired stamps and dies to put on eBay today but before I do, I wanted to share a card I made for a friend who is in law enforcement.  She asked me to make some thin blue sympathy cards for her.  I am embarrassed to say that I didn't know what thin blue cards were.  I asked and she explained.  So here they are.  They are very simple...but say so much with that thin blue line.  I think they would be awesome thank you cards too.  What a great thing to have in my car...just in case I see a man or woman in blue I can thank!!

My card base is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock, scored at  4 1/4". Next, I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock and adhered a 3/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock to it with Snail Adhesive.  Last I embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder, giving the illusion that the Blueberry Bushel is one with the Basic Black.  It's pretty cool!  The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and it punched out with the Tailored Tag punch.

That's it for today!  THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by!

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY & STAY WELL!!

Tuesday's Tip - Coloring with Bleach

Well Good Morning!  I hope you are well!  Here's my latest Tuesday's Tip Video!  I hope you'll give this fun technique a try!

Here's the actual card! My base is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  The Crushed Curry layer is cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies (my FAVORITE).  The flowers are stamped with Crushed Curry ink using the Floral Essence stamp set and "colored" with bleach using a Blender Pen.  I colored the Pearl Basic Jewels with a Bronze Stampin' Blend Marker and attached them to the centers of the flowers.  I finished it with a three strand Linen Thread bow.

I love how the pearls turned out and the flowers look great!  It's such a FUN technique...I hope you'll give it a try!

Don't forget you'll need to stamp an extra flower to cut out so you'll have a "mask".  The mask allows you to cover your stamped image so you can stamp another flower...making it look like it's behind the first flower!  That's a pretty cool technique too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thank you for letting me share what I love to do......with you!

"Make-It Monday" Botanical Prints and Mountain Air

Hello everyone!  How was your Easter?  Was it weird?  Was it somewhat normal?  I hope it was wonderful!  Mine was nice.  I had a Costco spiral ham in the freezer and baked it, made twice baked potatoes, fresh green beans and deviled eggs.  It was really nice.  My two oldest sons were here, helping their younger brother move into his first home!  It was a really good weekend, in spite of all that is happening!

Hey...It's Monday and that means it's time for another "Make-It Monday" tutorial and today, I have TWO!!  I hope they get your creative juices flowing!
