Dandelion Wishes with Pigment Sprinkles

Hello everyone! I can't believe it's already Thursday! The days seem to blend into each other! I had a wonderful day visiting with friends who came for a visit!  I'm blessed to have a big room but we didn't get much crafting done!  We did do a lot of laughing though!

I have a BEAUTIFUL card to share with you today!  It's made with one of my FAVORITE stamp set (happily it isn't retiring)!  It's also made with Pigment Inks (which sadly are retiring).  Now's a GREAT time to get them as they are on sale! Dandelion Wishes

·         Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (140272), Bermuda Bay (131197), Blackberry Bliss (133675), Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)

·         Ink: Blackberry Bliss (147092), Versamark (102283)

·         Tools & Accessories: Pigment Sprinkles (149663), Stampin’ Spritzers (126185), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690), Heat Tool (129053), White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (149511), Embossing Buddy (103083), Dimensionals, Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (151775)

           

Measurements: 

·         Thick Whisper White Card Base: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

·         Bermuda Bay:  5 3/8” x 4 1/8”

·         Blackberry Bliss: 5 3/8” x 2”

·         Watercolor Paper:    4 ¾” x 3”        

           

Instructions:

·         Emboss dandelion image onto Watercolor Paper with White Embossing Powder

·         Sprinkle very small amount Pigment Sprinkles onto Watercolor Paper (I used Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green & Gorgeous Grape)

·         Spritz with water until you have the desired effect- then let it dry

·         Emboss Bermuda Bay using Subtle 3D then glue it onto Whisper White card base

·         Glue Blackberry Bliss paper onto Bermuda Bay, then glue the decorated Watercolor Paper on top’

·         Stamp sentiment using Blackberry Bliss on to Whisper White scratch paper then cut it out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies

·         Pop it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Hello everyone!  Happy Monday!  Hope you're having a great day and had a wonderful weekend!  Here's a little "Make-It Monday" inspiration for you!

●     Stamp Set: Birthday Jubilee (151576)

●     Card stock: Pool Party (122924), Thick Whisper White (140272)

●     Ink: Calypso Coral (147101), Memento (132708)

●     Tools & Accessories: Jubilee Beauty Dies (151576), Wink of Stella (141897), Well Written (151816), Stampin’ Blend Sets: Old Olive (144597), Calypso Coral (144045), So Saffron (149557), Pool Party (144595), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108), Take Your Pick Tool Brush Tip (149655)

Measurements:

●     Base: Thick Whisper White, 8½x5½, folded in half

●     Card stock No. 1: Pool Party

Instructions:

●     Die cut 2 of the intricate background from Jubilee Beauty dies and then Pool Party Paper. Then use the die brush tip on the Take Your Pick Too to remove insides.

●     Stamp the garland from the Birthday Jubilee set in Memento ink and die cut.

●     Adhere the two Jubilee Beauty die cuts facing each other to the Thick Whisper White base with mini glue dots, careful to avoid the holes so the dots do not show through.

●     Stamp the “Celebrating YOU is the best” phrase in Calypso Coral, stamped off, in the center of the card.

●     Color the garland with Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the top of the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

●     Highlight with Wink of Stella. Enjoy!

Morning Star

Hello Everyone!  WOW!!  What a busy day!  My daughter and I had a TEAM ORDER...her for 94 cookies and me for 94 cards.  They were for Teacher Appreciation Day...which was last week so we're late...but still appreciative!  Then we had to drive down the mountain for an orthodontist appointment.  We ran a few errands and had drive through for lunch.  Now we're home and I'm FINALLY blogging!  I hope your day has gone well!

 Morning Star

·         Stamps: Morning Star (151699)

·         Cardstock: Whisper White (100730) Pool Party (122924)

·         Ink: Pool Party (147107)

·         Tools & Accessories: Paper Trimmer (152392) Paper Snips (103579) Silver 3/8” Metallic Edge Ribbon (144213) Stitched Stars Dies (150653)

·         Designer Paper: Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP (151192), Silver Glimmer Paper (146960)

·         Misc: Liquid Glue (110755) Dimensionals (104430) Bone Folder (102300) Mini Glue Dots (103954)

           

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Whisper White cut at 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 and 4 x 4 to die cut star, 2-3/4 x 3-3/4

·         Cardstock #2: Pool Party cut at 3 X 8 and scored at 4.

·         Designer Paper: 4 x 5-1/4 of Pool Party print from Parisian Blossoms and 5 x 2 of Silver Glimmer Paper for die cutting

·         Metallic Edge Ribbon: 12-14” long

           

Instructions:

·         Adhere 4 x 5-1/4 Parisian Blossoms designer paper over Whisper White base.

·         Fold Pool Party in half at 4” score and give it a good crease with Bone Folder.

·         Stamp stars in Pool Party ink to create a background on what will be the front of the mini card.

·         Stamp the large star on Whisper White and die cut with corresponding Stitched Stars die.

·         Cut star scroll from Silver Glimmer Paper. Keep the stars that are cut out for the inside of card. (Tip: cut with the reverse {white} side up.)

·         Tie ribbon around bottom front flap of card. Trim ends to desired length.

·         Adhere star scroll with Liquid Glue on left side as shown.

·         Adhere large star with Dimensionals.

·         Glue mini card over designer paper on base.

·         Stamp sentiment on the smaller piece of Whisper White in Pool Party ink.  Glue Silver Glimmer Paper stars around sentiment as desired. Glue the sentiment piece to the inside of the card.

Clubhouse - Father's Day Card!

Good Morning everyone!  How was your weekend?  Were you able to celebrate Mother's Day?  I had a lovely day with all of my children home.  It was a hard day, as it marked the one year anniversary of my son, Adam's death in a car crash.  There were tears, lots of laughter and really good food.  I received so many cards, texts, calls, FB messages, gifts, flowers and special visits from friends and friends of Adam's.  They all brought me joy.  I was blessed by so many!

It's Monday again and today I'd like to share a FUN Father's Day card!  It is, after all...right around the corner!

Clubhouse Bundle Pun Card

Measurements:  

·         Garden Green CS:               3-1/4” x 4-3/4”;           plus scraps for die cutting

·         Crushed Curry CS:              scrap for die cutting

·         Poppy Parade CS:               3” x 4-1/2”

·         Whisper White CS:              2-1/2” x 2-1/4”           

·         Whisper White Thick CS:   scraps for die cutting

·         DSP:                                       3-1/4” x 1-1/2”

INInstructions:

      1. Burnish the fold in the note base using a Bone Folder.

           2. Emboss the Poppy Parade CS layer using the Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder

           3. Glue the Poppy Parade CS layer onto the Garden Green CS layer.

4. Glue the DSP layer onto the Poppy Parade CS layer.
5. Glue the Whisper White CS layer over the DSP layer.
6. Tie Garden Green twine around the layers and tie in a knot on the front.
7. Glue the Garden Green CS layer onto the front of the card base.
8. Stamp the sentiment twice in Garden Green ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Thick CS.
9. Die cut one sentiment using the crest shaped die.
10. Die cut the second sentiment using the banner shaped die.
11. Die cut a large golf ball from a scrap of Whisper White Thick CS.
12. Die cut a tee from a scrap of Crushed Curry CS.
13. Die cut 5 grass clumps from a scrap of Garden Green CS.
14. Cover the die cut golf ball with Versamark ink, then cover it with clear embossing powder, then heat emboss it.
15. Glue 2 Garden Green CS grass clumps onto the Whisper White CS layer.
16. Adhere the golf ball, tee, and remaining grass clumps onto the Whisper White CS layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
17. Glue the crest shaped sentiment onto the Poppy Parade CS layer.
18. Adhere the banner sentiment over the crest shaped sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
