I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love ALL THINGS paper crafting. I also have a scrapbooking retreat business called Scrap Happens Retreats. I love teaching and learning new techniques, sharing ideas, hosting my retreats, being a wife and a mom. Hiking, bicycling, gardening and cooking are a few of my other hobbies. Fall and Christmas INSPIRATION!!

Hello everyone!  Happy Friday!  It's been a tough couple of days, but I got back in my workshop today and had a wonderful day of creating! I have a couple of fun tutorials to share with you today. One for FALL and one for CHRISTMAS...both are right around the corner!  ENJOY!! 

Gilded Autumn Grateful

Supplies:

·         Stamp Set: Beautiful Autumn bundle - stamp set & punches (155189)

·         Card Stock: Gold Cards & Envelopes (153532), Very Vanilla (101650)

·         Ink: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron

·         Other: Stampin’ Seal (152813)

           

Measurements

·         Very Vanilla scraps

 

Instructions:

1.  Using Early Espresso ink, stamp the greeting onto the front of the Gold Card.

2.  Using Cajun Craze and Mint Macaron ink, stamp the outline images of the leaves onto the Very Vanilla scraps of cardstock.

3.  To stamp the inside of each leaf, ink the stamp and stamp off one time on scrap paper before stamping inside the outline image. This will give a lighter shade of the same color.

4.  Punch out each leaf and attach to the card as shown.

·         Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (140272), Shaded Spruce (146981),                           Cherry Cobbler (119685); Whisper White (100730)

·         DSP/Specialty Paper:  Plaid Tidings (153527)

·         Stampin Blends: Bronze (154922), Calypso Coral Light (154881), Basic Black marker (100082)

·         Tools & Accessories:  Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110750), Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), Braided Linen Trim (147808), Tasteful Labels (152886), Stitched Nested Labels (149638), Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder (151590), Stampin Embossing Powder White (109132), Stampin Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements: 

·         Card Base:  Whisper White Thick  5 ½” x 8 ½ ”  ,  score at 4 ¼ ”

·         Cardstock #1: Shaded Spruce 5 3/8  x 4 1/8

·         Cardstock #2:  Cherry Cobbler 4 ½” x 2 ½: for the stitched rectangle and a small piece 2” x 1 ½” for the sentiment

·         Cardstock #3:  Shaded Spruce 2 ½” x 4: for smaller stitched rectangle

·         Cardstock #4: Whisper White- scrap piece at least 3” x 2” for reindeer

·         DSP: Plaid Tidings-  3 strips 1 ¼”  x 5 ¼” and a small piece to cut out bow

 

Instructions:

·         Cut all pieces cardstock as above. 

·         Stamp reindeer image on piece of scrap Whisper White and fussy cut out.

·         Stamp bow section of reindeer onto piece of plaid DSP and fussy cut out.

·         Die cut  Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stitched Rectangles.

·         Heat emboss with white embossing powder onto small scrap piece Cherry Cobbler and die cut with the Tasteful Label die.

·         Color the reindeer with Stampin Blends,

·         Attach the plaid cut out bow to the reindeer.

·         Attach the 3 strips plaid DSP to the front of the Shaded Spruce cardstock.  Emboss this piece with the Absolutely Argyle Embossing folder.

·         Attach the Braided Trim around the center of the card as desired.  The sample shows the trim wrapped around 3 times.

·         Attach to Whisper White Thick card base.

·         Attach the Shaded Spruce Stitched rectangle to the Cherry Cobbler Stitched Rectangle and attach to the front of the card using Stampin Dimensionals. 

·         Attach die cut sentiment using Stampin Dimensionals.
