MORE Poppies!!

Good Morning and HAPPY Saturday!  It's a BEAUTIFUL day!  The skies are blue...the suns out!  I LOVE spring mornings!  My son bought his first house and it's moving day!  I'm so excited to have him less than an hour a way!  This mom is blessed.  All my children are in California again and close enough for a day trip!  YAY!!

I promised you more poppy cards today and here they are! ENJOY!!

Painted Poppies

Supplies:

Measurements: 

·         Card Base:                            Rich Razzleberry 4.25 x 11

·         Cardstock #2:                        Whisper White 2 1/8” x 4 3/8” for center piece

·         Cardstock #3:                        Whisper White 4 1/8” x 4 3/8” for inside card

     Whisper White @ 2 x 3 (for greeting)

Rich Razzleberry @ 2 x 3 (for greeting)

     Whisper White @ 2.25 x 2.25 (for front flower – die cut)

      Rich Razzleberry 3.25 x 3.25 for die cut swirly circle

      Seam Binding -- @ 15” – enough to make a bow

·         Designer Paper:                   Peaceful Poppies DSP 7/8 x 4 3/8 (two pieces), 7/8 x 4 1/8                

                                               

           

Instructions:

1.    Cut base from Rich Razzelberry

2.    Hold card in portrait position. Cut slits on each side of the front, 1” wide, starting 1: from the end.  Slit goes to 6.5” from the end and is 5.5 inches long.  Use a pencil to mark the ends of the slit.

3.    Hold card in the landscape position.  Score (on the end with the slit) at 1” all the way across.  Score at 2” and 6.5” on the outside strips on.  Score at 5.5 on the middle section only. 

4.    Attach DSP on the sides and bottom of the card.

5.    Stamp the 3 images on measured white cardstock (grunge spots on the 2 1/8’ x 4 3/8” white piece and flower and greeting on small white pieces.)

6.    Die cut the greeting and extra Razzleberry piec.

7.    Die cut the flower and the swirly circle.

8.    Adhere the pieces using the tap runner or dimensionals

9.    Add bow and sequins as desired

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Poppy Parade 9-3/4” x 4-1/4”.

·         Designer Paper: Peaceful Poppies 4-1/4” x 4-1/4” and 4-1/4” x 1/4”

·         Cardstock #2: Whisper White 3” x 1-1/2” or scrap

·         Cardstock #3: Whisper White 4” x 4”

·         Foil Sheets:  Gold 4-1/4” x 1-1/4”

·         Designer Paper: Peaceful Poppies 4-1/4” x 1-1/4”

           

Instructions:

·        Score the Poppy Parade card base at 5½” and fold, the front of the card will be shorter side which measures 4-1/4” x 4-1/4”.

·        Glue the 4-1/4” x 4-1/4” piece of DSP with the Poppy flowers of the front of the card, completely covering the cardstock.

·        Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock #2 using Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then die cut using the oval die from the Detailed Bands Dies.

·        Glue the 4-1/4” x 1/4” piece of DSP across the bottom about 1/2” from the bottom. Then glue the sentiment on top.

·        Place Rhinestones Basic Jewels randomly on the DSP, and one on each side of the sentiment.

·        On the left side of the Blackberry Bliss polka dot DSP, glue the Gold Foiled piece on top, then glue to the inside of the card on the right edge.

• Stamp the inside sentiment on the piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 4” x 4”, then glue to the inside, leaving a 1/8” border on all 4 sides.

·         Card Base: Blackberry Bliss 4-1/4”  x  11”  scored at 5-1/2”

·         Cardstock Mats: Blackberry Bliss 2-3/4” x 4-3/4”;   2-1/4” x 2-1/4”;   1” x 4-1/8”

·         Cardstock #2:  Whisper White 2-1/8” x 2-1/8”;   3/4” x 4-1/8”

·         Designer Paper Best Dressed:  4-1/8” x 5-3/8”;   2-5/8”  x  4-5/8”

           

Instructions:

·         Fold and burnish card base on score line at 5-1/2”

·         Adhere larger piece of Designer paper to card base

·         Adhere smaller piece of Designer paper to rectangle card mat and adhere both to card front

·         Run Whisper White square through embossing machine using embossing folder and adhere to Blackberry Bliss mat

·         Using the smaller flower dies, run the background die through the embossing machine using Blackberry Bliss cardstock

·         Using the outline die for the smaller flower, die cut using Purple Posy cardstock

·         Die cut flower center from Daffodil Delight

·         Adhere all 3 pieces together and attach to Whisper White square at the top of the rectangle using Stampin’ Dimensionals

·         Use Wink of Stella on flower center to add some shine

·         Adhere In Color Faceted Dots underneath flower

·         Stamp sentiment on Whisper White strip and adhere to Blackberry Bliss strip

·         Adhere this to card front below flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Measurements: 

·         Card Base: Crushed Curry 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”.  Score and fold at 4-1/4”

·         Blackberry Bliss:  5 -1/4” x 4”, ½ x 3-3/8”

·         Whisper White:  5 x 3 3/8 and 5-1/4 x 4

·         DSP:  1-1/4” x 3 3/8”

           

Instructions:

·         Emboss the whisper white card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

·         Die cut the leaves with mossy meadow and the circle die with blackberry bliss using a die cutting machine.  

·         Assemble the card front first with the blackberry bliss, then the embossed whisper white, then the smaller strips of blackberry bliss and the DSP as shown in the picture.

·         Punch the flower with scrap of blackberry bliss.  Brush with Wink of Stella. 

·         Adhere the leaves, flower and finish with champagne rhinestone.

·         Last adhere the whisper white card stock to the inside. 

·         Your card is now complete!
