Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop - It’s A Girl Thing..... Monochomatic Style

Hello There and WELCOME to the April Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is Monochromatic...which means we use only ONE color as our main color.  We can also use White, Vanilla or Black (I totally missed this in the instructions, so I used ALL ONE COLOR.  This was definitely a CHALLENGE for me...I'm stepped out of my comfort zone.  I hope you'll follow along and be INSPIRED!  Maybe you'll even try it out yourself!

My color is Crushed Curry! I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut the frame and attached it to my Crushed Curry card base with dimensionals.  The stamped image is a Whisper White piece of cardstock that I brayered, LIGHTLY with Crushed Curry ink. The sentiment is stamped in the same color of ink as is the umbrella handle.  I used my dots mask (from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks) to create a design onto Whisper White paper and punched the umbrella out with the Umbrella Builder Punch.  It is attached with dimensionals.  Last, I separated my White Flax Ribbon into threads and colored them with my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend Marker.  I went over it a couple of times to get to match my Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding.  I slipped the threads and the ribbon underneath the frame and tied a bow.  I LOVE how it turned out!  I hope you do too!

THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by tonight!  ENJOY the Hop!  Follow along by clicking below!
