Broadway Birthday

Hello everyone!  How's your day going?   Mine has been a bit busy, but it's calming down and now I get to blog!  Tuesday was my son, Seth's 26th birthday...he's my second oldest! He spent Tuesday and Wednesday with us, along with his two bulldogs Clyde and Chester!  Today, I'd like to share the birthday card I made him!

The card base is Whisper White with a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" piece of Basic Black cardstock as the first layer.  My second layer is a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock.  I cut the center of both the Basic Black and Crushed Curry pieces using the Broadway Lights dies. The Crushed Curry piece is embossed with the Swirls and Curls embossing folder and attached over the black with dimensionals! I stamped the sentiment (from the Broadway Birthday stamp set) directly to the card base and used the Love What You Do stamp set to stamp the Crushed Curry background over the sentiment.  WISH is cut using the same dies in Real Red cardstock.  It's Your Birthday is from the same stamp set and is cut with the Classic Label Punch.  I cut two more, one from Basic Black and one from Real Red to add as seen in the photo! 
I also added two silver Designer Elements to each label!

He LOVED it!   He said "I love your cards...I've saved them all"!  That did my heart good!
