Good Morning everyone! WOW!!! It's December 20th already! I had my last class of 2018 yesterday and now I'll have a little down time to celebrate Christmas with my family. Christmas is my favorite time of year...I love to decorate, bake, send cards and make gifts...but this year I just ran out of gas! My cards are waiting to be signed and mailed and my pathetic little tree (my husband and son bought it at Tractor Supply...UGHHH) sits, waiting to be decorated. Today is the last day of school so I think I'll bake tomorrow with my daughter...YAY!!! I can't let this happen next year!!!
Well...I want to share another project we made at my December classes with you today!
For this project you need a Lustrous White Mini Gable Box. Cut a 12" X 2 " piece of Under the Mistletoe designer paper placing a piece of Tear & Tape adhesive at each end. Start wrapping the designer paper at a corner, creasing at the corners as you wrap and ending at the corner you started at! Next tie a bow around the box using Granny Apple Green 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon (I LOVE this ribbon)!! Using the Stamparatus and the Labels to Love stamp sets, stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock in Real Red and Granny Apple ink. Punch it out with the Everyday Label punch. Punch a second label from Real Red cardstock and emboss it using the Swirls & Curls embossing folder. Punch a hole in both the stamped tag and the embossed tag then tie it to around the Granny Apple Green bow with Linen Thread! VIOLA...you have a SUPER FUN & CUTE gift box! I rolled up a pair of Christmas socks to put inside...it doesn't always have to be candy!!
