Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits...FALL Themed - Facebook Hop and Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi everyone! WOW!! What a week! I'm EXHAUSTED! Sometimes I think the emotional stuff is more tiresome than the physical stuff...and this has been a week of emotions! We had an amazing thunder and lightening show early Thursday morning...it woke us up from a dead sleep...then came the rain, it rained hard for about four hours and it was WONDERFUL!! Although the fires around us are still burning, we've been told that they should not make it to Weaverville...HUGE RELIEF...but I'm not unpacking yet! My husband is home...not quite feeling like himself, but home and I'm quite happy he's here!!

I made it home yesterday with just enough time to create a card for a Facebook Hop and I'd like to share it with you today!

Our theme for the hop was FALL...and I LOVE FALL!!!  My card base is Whisper White and my first mat is a piece of 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" Basic Black cardstock.  Next I cut a piece of Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper 4" X 5 1/4" and matted it on top of the Basic Black cardstock. I use my Stitched Shapes framelits to cut a Whisper White square and stamped the CUTE sentiment in Memento Black ink.  The sentiment is from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set. I also used this stamp set to stamp the leaf images onto the stitched square. Next I used the Patterned Pumpkins thinlits to cut the pumpkins from Delightful Daisy designer paper and the greenery from Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I inked the edges of the pumpkins with Early Espresso ink, cut green stems for the pumpkins (using just the tips of the thinlits) and tied some Linen Thread around the stems.  I also added a gold button tied with Linen Thread and I just LOVE the new Touches of Nature wooden embellishments so I had to add one of those! I attached the square and the pumpkins with dimensionals! I so hope I get to get back out to my workshop to create this weekend!

Here are a couple of photos from the fire...not taken by me...THANK GOD!!!
