14 Days of Love - Candy Jar

Hey there! How's Thursday treatin' you?  It's turned into a BEAUTIFUL day here!  The fog lifted and the skies are blue....but it's COLD!  My retreat started today and I'm so excited to have these ladies here for FOUR DAYS!! YAY!  I LOVE what I do!!

Today's 14 Days of Love project begins with a great find from the dollar store!  YEP...that's where I found that cute, glass candy jar.  I tied a bow around it using Real Red Cotton Ribbon.  The topper is created with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I used the largest circle and stamped the hearts with the Forever Lovely stamp set.  The sentiment is stamped with the Heart to Heart stamp set and punched out with the Story Label punch.  I used the 1/2" circle punch to punch a heart from the From My Heart designer paper.  The Flirty Flamingo heart is punched with a retired punch.  I added some more Real Red Cotton Ribbon underneath the sentiment with glue dots.  I filled it with Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds!  SUPER FUN!

Super cute...super simple and my husband loved it!

ICS Blog Hop - Thinking of You

Hello Everyone!  You've reached the Inspire Create & Share Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is THINKING OF YOU and there is SO MUCH INSPIRATION ahead!  You'll be thrilled you hopped along with us this evening!!

I've been prepping for an upcoming Painted Poppies Class so I decided to make one more project with that Stamp Set!  

My card base is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  The layers are cut with my new FAVORITE Stitched So Sweetly Dies! I just LOVE them!  The bottom layer is Poppy Parade, next layer is Mango Melody and the stamped layer is Whisper White.  The image is stamped with the Peaceful Poppies stamp set in Memento Black ink.  The flower is Mango Melody & the stems and leaf are stamped in Pear Pizzazz. The layers are attached to each other with snail adhesive and to the card base with dimensionals. 

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and is cut with the same Stitched So Sweetly dies.  I also added some Poppy Parade to the corners using the Poppy Parade stamp set.  It is hanging from a bow tied from Linen Thread!   



I LOVE it's clean and simple design with a POP of color!  I hope it has inspired you to CREATE!

14 Days of Love - Stampin' Up! Mini Shipping Box

Hello my crafty friends!  How is your Wednesday going?  I said goodbye to my son Erik this morning!  He's on his way back to Phoenix!  I sure do hope he gets the job in Redding and will be moving back this direction soon! 

Before I share another FUN 14 Days of Love project with you, I wanted to let you know I'm participating in the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop tonight at 6:00pm PST.  I hope you'll check back in!  There are 18 of us participating so you'll find lots of inspiration!

Here's today's project!  ENJOY!

I used a Stampin' Up! Mini Shipping Box for this treat holder by folding the front and sides inside the box and adhering them with Tear & Tape.  The back I left up and added a sentiment that is stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Real Red Ink. The sentiment is from the Heart to Heart stamp set and is attached with dimensionals.  Next I added a 2" x 3 1/2" piece of From My Heart Designer Paper to the front and back of the box as well as a 2" x 2 1/2" piece of the same dsp to each side.  Last, I added a sloppy bow using Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, Linen Thread and Real Red Cotton Ribbon.  I filled it with Dark Chocolate Truffles and my husband was thrilled!

14 Days of Love - Copper Tea Tin

Hello everyone!  How's you day starting out?  Mine is TERRIFIC so far!  My son who lives is Arizona is here for an interview in Redding today!  Oh how I would LOVE for him and his girlfriend to move closer to home!  It's my DREAM to have a Blue Bloods (do you watch that show), Sunday night dinner with all of my children!  Wouldn't that be FANTASTIC!

Today's 14 Days of Love project is created with a Copper Tea Tin.  I simple wrapped a piece of 3" x 12" piece of From My Heart designer paper around the tin, attaching with Tear & Tape.  Next punch a heart from the same designer paper packet with a punch from the Heart Punch Pack.  The sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set and is stamped with VersaMark onto Basic Black cardstock then embossed with Whisper White embossing powder.  I cut the sentiment apart and attached it with mini dimensionals.  I haven't filled it yet...I need to find something healthy to put in it!!

14 Days of Love - Ride With Me Valentine Treat Holder

Good Morning and HAPPY MONDAY!  Golly...it's a cold 23 degrees this morning but the skies are blue and it's BEAUTIFUL!  It's good to see the sunshine...even if it's cold!  How was your weekend?
Are you ready for your week?

Well...I'm gonna change things up a bit today!  Because it's February already and I haven't shared all of my 14 Days of Love projects, I'm gonna skip today's normal "Make-It-Monday" to share another Valentine treat box!  I'll be finishing up this week so stay tuned!

I gave this treat box to my husband yesterday and he LOVED it!  This ADORABLE little truck is cut with the Truck Rides Die.  I stamped the windows and fenders onto Real Red cardstock with the Ride With Me stamp set...the dies and stamp set can be purchased as a bundle!.  The tires are Basic black and cut with the dies and have Whisper White hub caps. Two things that are important to know about this project are to use your bone folder on your score lines and use glue dots to hold it together.  I had the best luck holding it together with glue dots.

Some of the gals at my class added Rhinestones for the headlights and rear lights and that is SUPER CUTE!  Sadly I didn't take a photo!

I have to play with this little truck some more!  I'm thinking in some FUN colors...for different occasions!  I love it and hope you do too!
