14 Days of Love - Copper Tea Tin

Hello everyone!  How's you day starting out?  Mine is TERRIFIC so far!  My son who lives is Arizona is here for an interview in Redding today!  Oh how I would LOVE for him and his girlfriend to move closer to home!  It's my DREAM to have a Blue Bloods (do you watch that show), Sunday night dinner with all of my children!  Wouldn't that be FANTASTIC!

Today's 14 Days of Love project is created with a Copper Tea Tin.  I simple wrapped a piece of 3" x 12" piece of From My Heart designer paper around the tin, attaching with Tear & Tape.  Next punch a heart from the same designer paper packet with a punch from the Heart Punch Pack.  The sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set and is stamped with VersaMark onto Basic Black cardstock then embossed with Whisper White embossing powder.  I cut the sentiment apart and attached it with mini dimensionals.  I haven't filled it yet...I need to find something healthy to put in it!!

Copper Tea Tin and Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP....it's NOT just for Christmas!

Hello there! I'm getting ready for my retreat this weekend...well, I'm actually trying to get going so I can get ready for my retreat this weekend.  I do have a project I want to share with you...it's a gift for my retreat ladies!

I decorated a Copper Tea Tin with Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Holiday catalog...a 2 1/2" X 12" strip wraps around perfectly!  It's NOT just for Christmas!!

The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and is punched with the 1 1/8" Scallop Circle punch.  I stamped the background in Pretty Peacock ink onto to scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Tasteful Textures stamp set and punched it out with the Story Label punch.

I attached the sentiment and the background to a piece of Copper Foil paper that is embossed with the Hammered Metal embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog and punched with the 2" Circle punch.  I finished it off with layers of ribbon...1/4" Copper Trim, Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, Linen Thread and Pretty Peacock 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon.  I LOVE that look!  Now to fill it with goodies and have it at their tables!

Hey...thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a FANTASTIC day!  Hope you find time to CREATE!!
