Garden Impressions

Good morning everyone!  Were you able to hop along with the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop last night?  I had to look at everything very quickly as I had a 6:30pm class.  Now, I'm off to Costco, so it will have to wait til later today!  I do hope you enjoyed it!  If you didn't get to you can go to yesterdays blog post to get started!

Last night was my first May class so I'd like to share one of the cards we made!

My card base is Very Vanilla and measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". Next I added a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock as my first layer.  I added a 3" X 3 3/4" piece of Garden Impressions designer paper (going away in June) and a 2" X 3" piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that is embossed with the Petal Burst embossing folder (which sadly is retiring).  I used the Dot to Dot embossing folder (also retiring) to emboss a 1" x 4" Night of Navy strip.  Before attaching it to my card, I tied Whisper White Bakers twine around it (2 pieces) and tied a double bow.  After attaching the strip, I tied Linen Thread around the bow attaching a Corrugated Element.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink with the Treat Time stamp set and cut with the Petite Treats Framelits (a bundle that is also retiring this month). This DSP is so pretty and such a great deal...just $11.00 for 48 6" X 6" pieces.

OnStage Swap Cards - BE INSPIRED

Good Morning and HAPPY Thursday! Oh man...it's a BEAUTIFUL day here in Weaverville today! The skies are blue and clear AND it's suppose to be 83 degrees today! I LOVE IT!!!

Today, I want to share my OnStage swap card with you!  I made 50 to trade!  I think I have about 45 to share with you (I just gave some away too...even if they didn't have a swap)!

My card base is Whisper White. The first layer is Mint Macaron and measures 4" X 5 1/4".  I embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder.  Just like a few of my other cards this month, I used the Petals & More framelits for the trellis background.  It it attached with Mini Dimensionals in strategic places so they would be hidden by the sentiment!

The sentiment is from the Treat Time stamp set and the flowers are punched with the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. I finished it off with a pearl in the center of each flower!

Below are a few of the swaps that I received!  I'll be sharing them for the next few days so I don't overwhelm you!  All of these are created with the Flowering Desert stamp set. I LOVE how it was used to make an adorable little bunny for a 2" X 2" tag!  SO CREATIVE!!

Well...that's it for today! Have a wonderful rest of your day!  THANK YOU so very much for stopping by!
