December's Class Cards.....

Good morning everyone!  Well...school started back up today, so I'm home alone and it's so quiet!  My husband is off helping a friend so I'm getting back to blogging!  I didn't intend to, but I took TWO WEEKS off while my daughter was on Christmas break.  It was wonderful to just hang out with your and my husband and my adult kids when we could.  We slept in...we stayed up late...there was no schedule...it was AWESOME!!!  That said...there's lots things I didn't share with you...my wonderful followers that I'm gonna share with you now and through out this week!  I'm forgoing my "Make-It Monday" today to show you the four cards we made in my December classes.

This cute gift card holder is created with the Swirl and Curls Embossing Folder and the Cup of Christmas Bundle.  I LOVE the idea of using a 3x3 envelope as the gift card holder!

My classes were so much fun this month I enjoyed every one!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tuesday's Tip Video...I want to show you one of our new stamp sets...it's BEAUTIFUL!  Wednesday evening I'm participating in a Paper Pumpkin Alternatives blog hop and Wednesday through Friday I'll have more creations from December! I hope to get back to scrapbooking too!  I desperately need to catch up!!

Kraft Pillow Box Treat Holder

Good Morning everyone!  Yay...it's Friday and a three day weekend!  Well...my husband took yesterday off so it's a five day weekend for us!  We're heading to the Rib Cook-off in Reno, Nevada with our son and his girlfriend.  We've never been!  I'm excited...but also dreading the crowds!  I'll keep you posted!  What are your plans for the weekend?  Whatever you do...BE SAFE & HAVE FUN!

Today's project is a gift that I made for my retreat ladies last weekend! I filled it with CHOCOLATE!  I used a Kraft Pillow Box.  To create the band I used a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock that I had embossed with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder.  I measures 2" X 8" and both ends are punched with the Delightful Tag Topper punch.  I love how it hangs over the side. I layered Polka Dot Tulle, Scalloped Lace Trip, Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen ribbon and Linen Thread into kind of a sloppy bow.  The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and is punched out with the Story Label punch!  The pillow box is so versatile!  Use it for back to school gifts, upcoming Halloween treats, Thanksgiving place settings and Christmas treats!  Don't forget Valentines Day will be here soon too...LOL!!! Oh the possibilities!

Dandelion Wishes - Elegant Anniversary

Good Morning Everyone!  Yep...it's still morning...BARELY!!! Man...I slept in until nine o'clock this morning!  I NEVER do that!  The weird thing is...I still feel tired!  My chores are done and I'm getting ready to drive to Redding to watch my daughter play volleyball.  I love cheering my kiddos on!  Before I go I have a beautiful anniversary card to share with you!  ENJOY!!

I used the Swirls & Curls embossing folder to emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I tied a bow around the embossed piece using 3/8" Silver Metallic Edged ribbon and then attached it with dimensions to a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Whisper White card base.  Next I stamped the sentiment using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set onto a stitched circle cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits. It is stamped in Gray Granite ink and attached to a Pearlized Doily and then to the card with dimensionals.  I also frayed some Whisper White Flax ribbon, separating it into strands and tied another bow.  I punched some small flowers and added some pearls to finish it off!  I love how it!

Dandelion Wishes Anniversary Card

Hey there everyone!  I hope your day is wonderful so far!  I woke up this morning to find that I have earned the Stampin' Up! trip to Maui next July!  I'm THRILLED!!  Thank you customers and downline!  I appreciate you all so very much!!

Monday my husband and I celebrated 30 years of marriage!  YAY!  Today I want to share the anniversary card I made him!  

I used the Swirls and Curls embossing folder to emboss a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock that I had already cut a circle out of with my Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I stamped the 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" Whisper White card base using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set...stamping where the open circle would let the dandelion show through.  I used Gray Granite ink! The embossed cardstock is attached with dimensionals.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed with White embossing powder and VersaMark, onto a scrap piece of Basic Black cardstock.  I used the Story Label punch to cut it out and attached it to the card with dimensionals.  I added some pearls and some Whisper White Flax Ribbon that I separated into single strands.  That finished it off perfectly and my husband LOVED it! I hope you love it too and will give it a try!

Adhere these pieces to the 3 sections on Pacific Point card base. Stamp birds in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on top right corner of card base. Fold Real Red strip over and under then put glue on back of each end. Glue one end to front of card base and the other end to the inside of card base about 1” from bottom (See picture for placement). Stamp saying in Memento Tuxedo Black on ¾” x 5 ¼” Whisper White strip one row at a time centered on strip by masking the other rows, inking the stamp and then removing the mask before stamping. Glue the 3 white strips on the corresponding Real Red strip already glued to card base.   Glue each ½” end of 3 Pacific Point strips to inside of box created by Real Red strip. Glue one end to card base and the other end to back of Real Red strip. Glue first strip ½” from back of card. Then glue the next strip ½” from Real Red strip. Lastly, glue third strip center between the other 2 strips already glued. Fold card to make sure everything folds down flat. Punch 3 “clouds” from Whisper White piece with Pretty Label Punch. Cut one in half. Glue on card (See picture for placement). Stamp balloon stamp in Melon Mambo ink on Melon Mambo c/s. Then punch out with Balloon Punch and cut off bottom half of balloon. Punch another balloon out of Real Red c/s. Glue Melon Mambo top to Real Red balloon. Stamp in Coastal Cabana ink the other balloon stamp on Coastal Cabana c/s. Then punch with balloon punch. Punch 3rd balloon out of Daffodil Delight c/s. Then stamp banner in Memento Tuxedo Black across the balloon. Stamp 3 baskets in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake strip and punch out with Balloon punch. Adhere 2 baskets to the bottom of the Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight balloons. Glue Red/Pink balloon to front of card centered on white cloud. Use a mini dimensional to adhere basket to bottom of balloon directly on card front. Glue the other 2 balloons on the Pacific Point strips inside card box--the back balloon higher than the middle balloon.
